They only went back because of Jimmy smith.
Maybe you should start looking at why still to this day and until you start getting rid of the DEAD wood from your club you will not get out of div 5 and the rate the club is going div 6 is looking a reality. Why is it that so many quality footballers have left the club and say the same thing" Too many idiots hang around that club and they need to rid them" if it wasn't for jamo the club would be finished.

Ok mate tell me what is going on down at the kennel? No doubt plympton have a fantastic squad and also have the depth as the magoos have won the last few grannys it's just strange that the a's are in the relegation zone? Have injuries taken a toll although it is only heading into round 6 plenty of time left in the season

Plympton has some great footy players on their list yes. Some great youth ( max scott, anton caponni and the likes)
The depth has somewhat levelled out this year with people retiring, moving on etc. There are still a few to come back int the A grade after some injuries yes. Which will obviously help. I dont think the list of players is the problem. The boys show glimpses of what they are capable of but it seems they just cant put a side away when they need too. A few times they have been up, and could of put the opposition away by continuiing on and really taking the game. But they have not. I honestly dont know what can be done to fix it so they can turn it round, but they will need to start real bloody soon ! And I hope they can.
How ever as for the internal workings of the club, I wont comment on that any more as i am no longer a coach of the club as of about an hour ago.
I will say though that I wish the plympton footy club well and hope they can turn their season around.

The late Greg "Palceface" was my big brother who passed away in January this year. :(
Was a great game fitting for pales, specially as it was lutherans where he played out his footy career and also he helped take them to their first premiership in year iirc .. and the hv chf didnt do a bad job either.. his old man would 'ave been proud.

whilst i was at the club 07/08 at plympton there was no problems behind the scenes that i knew of myself.

I think the problem is they are focusing on one player Jim Smith to much and maybe not letting the youngsters get a show. Take nothing away from Jim he is a quality player but a club doesnt revolve around ONE player. 07/08 was the best football years (besides 00/01 at St Marys in darwin) for me and i regret leaving the club myself. In 07/08 the team was full of great players. 07 Jim smith wasnt even there and we just missed out on the GF that year. So the club can manage without him. But again he is a fantastic player and yes would be a major loss for the club if he left. maybe im wrong

Changing coaches half way through a year is never good for any football club. At the end of the year its a different story. Maybe behind the scenes are expecting to much from to little who knows?

Looks like it is all happening down at Plympton.

Good win for Havens on Saturday after being down 5 goals to 2 at quarter time, only down side is the continued bad run of injuries.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet
