Nothing wrong with PFC rooms and club. In fact the away changerooms are one of the best IMO. Unlike a few i was at i.e. Glenunga and lutherans/Brahma Lodge. Brahma lodge had ONE chair in the away change rooms when i played there in 07 and it was filled with tables and roach infested old BBQs.

I thought Plymptons away rooms where a tad too small!

We are not talking about the current rooms it was about some comments on when they upgrade them after they recieve a grant!!

your not really making any sense.... cause all i was talking bout was the upgrade of the clubrooms and facilities. then you bought up issues at people at the club and you bring up a bloke who didnt get a coaching job... bit all over the place mate...
so i can understand bulldogs question...

What is the go with every man and his dog taking pot shots at plympton. Hardly the first side to have a bad start to the year and part with their coach early. I think 3 other sides in divvy 5 would find themselves in the same boat as plympton yet nothing is being written about them.

Hats off to Plympton for securing the grant. It takes a lot of behind the scenes work for blokes to pull something like that off.

very fair call lovetotalk, most sensible thing i've read on here for a longgggg time !!
btw how are the rest of the clubs going?? hows the injury list goin? any inclusions? any departures? etc etc..... think it's poor form just belting the crap out of just 1 club when they're down, im sure just about every club has had it's fair share of things not goin their way...so can people just write about footy in general?? it is a footy forum isn't it?? not a presidents forum.. thanks ;)

Why would you deflect all the attention off Plympton, this isn't a Brahma Lodge thread LTTF. Im sure they can go a few pages without mentioning us :P

Good luck to the boys at Plympton this week, should be a cracker game with two teams that really need to start getting the ball rolling before its to late.

About time someone mentioned it LM, i was concerned when i grabbed the light meter and tested it in the rooms and the result didnt come back showing that it would be suitable to host day night cricket in there so once again i might struggle to read Womens Weekly while getting changed...very disappointing Plympton

Very good point LTTF. Very easy to kick a club when it is going thru a rough patch. Good work on obtaining the grant and look forward to seeing the end result.

They are a bit small the Visitors, but at least its always reasonably clean, I havent had to go in there since cricket season but from what i can remember there is seating available all the way around, and they aren't "vintage" chairs and stools that could colapse at any minute. The ammenities like showers/toilet/basin are all in good working order, although I havent showered in the Vis for a good couple of years. And the lighing is sufficient, more than adequate if you compared it to the lighting recieved from the North Haven Vis rooms. They get re-painted every two years, so I know they get looked after (the bricks don't get repainted but the floors and the wet areas do).

So concidering some of the stink holes that opposition clubs get afforded to them, I don't think PFC's Vis rooms are too bad.

Mate, they are a bit on the small side, it brings the players closer together though. You can, poo, wee, shower and get changed in them no probelms, they have always been clean every time I've been there and they are far from the worst going around.
Blackfriars ones annoy me, they are spacious but have seating in the wrong places, as a coach it makes it hard to get everyone in the one area to address them, the hygiene and location are impeccable though.

Plymptons are good, therre not big but they are the visitors rooms it's not meant to be the intercontinental.

Don't start on North Havens lights I still feel bad for them causing Hope Valleys winless run at the start of the season.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Hey wood see above.... My first comment on the whole situation regarding yours and hollywoods comments! Then a conversation evolves. If we could only talk about one thing and not change subject this would be a very short thread! I'm sorry if you can't follow.

IMHO PFC should look at upgrading their culture along with the clubrooms then they might start heading up the divisions!

Yeah, we get the picture Vinnie. You don't like Plympton. I don't think their culture is a problem, we've had great battles over the years, they seem like a good bunch off the field, I may be a little bit bias though as we played them when they had a "Ladies Day", and it happened to be a pretty warm day, I had no problems going to the canteen for my wife and kids, one thing at a time though.
