how would he be zero points, did he play at Havens as a young junior before they folded ?

Where did he play before he went to Port Districts?

Both Nurtons are Havens juniors, as are alot of other quality players getting around in other Peninsula sides.

He also played seniors at Havens until our rpesident got him an opportunity at Port Adelaide and then they told him to go to Districts when he wasn't getting picked so they could 'watch him'.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

have been thinking about this recently and i thought id throw it out there to see what others think, but would div 5 and 6 be the closest two levels of football in the SAAFL. mostly just looking at how teams that have been promoted in recent times have fared in their first season in div 5, ie hectorville west croydon, even brahma last year when they had a very similar side to the one that made the GF in 09.
not saying for a second that the standard in these divs are the SAME just an observation that maybe the standard of football is closer than any other two divs.

I would say this is the closest season Ive had in 12 years of SAAFL.
I think the 2nd half of the season will stretch a few clubs out. I think consistency of form, consistency of mind set will go a long way. I also think injuries will play a major role.

I'd say top 2 spots are reasonably safe, however the last 3 of top 5 are anyones and the last 2 of bottom 5 are anyones

Looking forward to the second half of the year, might see a few teams that where down make a big impact and some upsets i'd say.

Lookout for Adelaide Lutherans and plympton!

Luthies have lost a lot of close games and are a quality side, and i know first hand that plympton are expecting some big ins that haven't played any games this year, and with the return of D Roach will bolster the side tremendously.

Goodluck to everyone for the run into finals!

Salis West will welcome the return of a big quality ruckman after the bye, it would release 1 of the 2 current youngsters that have the current ruck duties forward, it will give them better options & marking power up forward.

Great to see such a tight comp....very similar ladder to the Div 5 ladder last year where any team had a chance of making the finals at some point

Gonna be an exciting finish to the season

Pickett?

Did this rumour run out of legs or has it still got some life left in it?

There is no umpire listed so I presumed it was the result of an investigation?
