If any one knows how to get hold of prints from the paper, i want to get them for my dad who played there i have seen alot of his photo in a shoe box and was wondering if i was able to colour prints somewere

As the risk of sounding obvious, have you contacted the paper? I doubt if you would get colour prints because as far as I know, all the papers used B&W photography in those days. What is your father's name?

Kevin Harris. i will give them a go i know he has a couple of colour phots but dont want ask him cos its for his bday. thanks.

They may not be from the newspaper, but I'll bet McAlmanac will have something. 8)

Strangely, I'm a bit light on for Kevin Harris pictures. :? I'll see what I can find.

Gun little rover.

Messenger Press might be a go.

The old Footy Times would run the occasional colour pic.

Every week, there'd at least be a colour poster (broadsheet size) in the middle.

To actually colour existing photo's and get the job done properly wouldn't be cheap...

Gee, I miss those old Woodville colours in the SANFL. The Green and Gold was a great colour scheme and the Warriors guernsey was a winner I reckon.

Agreed, a little terrier who has always battled manfully for the Warriors ... Think he was one of the MM fancies sometime in the early 80's, and was one of those players the opposition always highly respected - Get yourself copies of the Way It Was 82, 83 and 84 Video's and you'll see some footage of the old man.
