What happened at half time norman 11

A little scuffle broke out in front of the coaches boxes.

The brawl got way out of control. If Nielson didnt put his hands on the TW player I dont believe it would of got out of control like it did. Even though it spilled towards the Hamley bench no other person should of been involved just let the players let the steam out then get on it with it.

Poor effort by the coach to tell his players not to go into the clubrooms after the game.

Was a fraction of a millimeter from being needed I reckon! Big Whiskey flipped his lid at Will big time  , touch unneccessary I would've thought when you'd just kicked 5 goal to nil in the third and were 8 goal up, but each to their own I guess.

went and watched a good game at virginia yesterday, seems as if virginia have got a bit of depth this year with the likes of Young, howell, niklaus, tsmikalis out. they were solid all over the ground. Also had a chance to talk to big nic and he informed me that he was out suspended. What is with the league and its association rules? Last year he got a game for going to a wedding in queensland which he booked before signing up as a ram player after providing wedding invites, flight and accomodation bookings he still got a game, then this year he has a work place injury which prevents him from working had all this week off work too and he still gets a game (would not of played anyway even if he wasnt suspended) an d you get other player that provide x rays but then still play???? what the f---- is this league doing trying to drive the better players out?? or what, would love to see the people running the show put in some of these players positions. and while i am on that Fact: Most other leagues provide remuneration for rep games our players got?? a gurnsey? and the netballers had to pay money to go to there rep weekend.

Conversely they should follow Joel Wilson's lead and put association/zone footy ahead of club games.

Did you take anything away from Barry's game yesterday Stewie?
No doubt the big fella was in the thick of things, did he get his gear off at half time again?
Might see if I can get out of the garden on a Saturday arvo to get a look at Hamley sooner, rather than later.

Coaches shouldnt get invovled. Must of put a hand on a player if you say he copped one on the chin. If he hadnt Bugs would not of came over. Maybe Schangier shouldnt of kneed our ruckman then nothing would of happened.

Doesn't the Captain have the right to approach the umpires at the breaks?

The two wins have nothing to do with Andy, couldn't coach himself out of a wet paper bag. He is a muppet thats all. These games have nothing to do with the coach it is the quality of players in the squad that wins the games.

Are you speaking from experience, have you played under him? I have and he is one of the most passionate and dedicated coaches I've had. I can't see who you support in OUR league cos you haven't listed a local team. If you have no idea or no connection to a club in this forum keep out of it!!!!

If the coach got involved in an on-field scuffle, they should throw the book at him. WTF was he thinking

Hazbeen closed in on UNDERthePACK and is one point in arrears, while OnSong and Mythical Creature can be thanked for the round low score of 1 point, which went on to norm11, Woofa, maidenmagpie and Dr Pink's yearly totals, after they forgot to put their tips in. (Unless they did and I've missed them???)
Just nine rounds to go but it's still anyone's game!

I didnt see the coach involved at all other than trying to get the f**k out of the way. Did a good job considering the scuffle ended up pretty much inside the coaches box.

MH who was the TW fan in amongst the brawl throwing jabs and grabbing blokes by the throat and saying "thats my son...thats my son". I am sure his son can protect himself if he is good enough to be playing A Grade football.

Get off your high horse mate and report all the facts.

I did catch the Barry show on Saturday Duke, he is unfairly maligned I feel.
They say he does nothing and kicks 3, apparently unless he kicks 14 no-one notices,
probably an indication of how high he has set the bar over the years.
Is a fair chance Sergei Bubka would cringe at the height of it.
Reckon when we have a bye from the garden in a couple of weeks we go and give Barry the support he deserves.....
