Thats 7 losses in a row. They stayed out on the oval for a while in a huddle after the final siren, bit of soul-searching being done no doubt

Now I don't tend to bag umpires....BUT.....

The two clowns we had today obviously didn't get the memo about sling tackles (or fling tackles or whatever they're bloody called)

One of our blokes copped one, right in front of two umps on the sidelines and there wasn't even a send off, let alone a report.

Meanwhile, our player has a grade 2 AC tear which may need surgery and as of about half an hour ago still couldn't remember what happened.

Joke. :?

well done havens too good today.. the young guys for havens that looked lost lasts year have really stepped up and use the footy well.. think we are a sitting 5th still but we dont even derserve to be there too many players playing for themselves and we looked real bad in the last half today.. hope havens forward that went down today gets back okay and on his feet dont know how serious his injury was(knee).

well done westies game clear on top for such a young list, imagine what they will do in 3 to 4 years if they are loyal.. well done red dogs great win.. looks like west croydon have a wake up call if they going to win it this year not div 6 anymore boyz..

as for the umpires if you play div 5 footy expect to get the umpires that dont train and that are overweight and do not know saafl rules

i.e umpire today said your allowed to take the ball from the ruck as long as you attempt to kick it..

Was it just me or did Scotty Mac have the breath of an Irishman on St Patrick's Day in yesterday's game? Obviously a gun player, but when you are constantly throwing up during the game from the drinking session you had either the night before or that morning, I think there are some real problems down at Brahma Land. Good call, bad call???

He at least he is half right, you can take it from the ruck as long as you dispose of it correctly.

Top win by HV yesterday. Quality game considering the conditions and rosies made us work until the final minutes to secure the win.

Caps off a great weekend for all 3 senior grades, but more importantly the a grade are right in the finals mix for the first time this season. Absolute crunch game this week against luthies, but hopefully the boys can bring the intensity they showed yesterday and im confident we can bring it home.

Special mention to Andre Kulpe and Luke Anderson on reaching milestone games and both grades got the win for them. Also a speedy recovery to Matty Ising with the shoulder, hopefully can avoid surgery and be back in the side before seasons end.

full credit to plympton yesterday. they definately are the form side of the comp atm. they wanted the ball more than the hawks & got some easy goals after a few little errors from normally reliable players......... hopefully there will be a few handy players returning from injuries this week for the hawks & get back on the winners circle

Luthie boys will be shattered with yesterday, had built some real momentum before 2 losses in a row.
Absolute make or break v HV next week. Both 5 and 7. Loser just about gone you'd suggest.

i saw a bit of banter from our trainers and your runner and you guys had a bit to say aswell so lets just leave it at that as for your boundary umpire that was too busy arguing with our players that he wouldnt throw the ball in and he told our boudary umpire a 16 year old that he had a few tokes at half time and was stoned i dont think thats on..

oh yeh quailty sledging from havens crowd when we ran past for our warm up'omg you have a ranga as if you have a ranga playing for you'

isnt your best player a ranga :D
