not sure who you are MC but i can let you in on a little secret, i get the ball and kick it through the big sticks, thats how i do it. just to clear that up. even wayne carey had a bad game or two mate, and probably played injured a few times too. who knows!!!!! seeya in round 18!!!! ;)

also Sam Mcardle has a few issues.. he should just be happy with the career he had and be someone the young kids getting around at the game can look up to... you dont see other past league or AFL footballers come back to country football and act like a di$k.... but from everything ive heard from people who played with him a leopard doesnt change his spots... once a di*k always a di*k!!!

Finally stewie, the shoot was saturday night at about 4am  , so wasnt really on my mind during game, just had a bad one .. will welcome the two week break to get over a few things... cheers though..

Wayne Carey is my idol and I would prefer it if you didnt compare yourself to him!

Sammy is passionate but he does do a great job with our senior colts especially when they need to use 4 junior colts each week to make numbers up to 14. These are junior colts from the bottom team as well so all things considered he should be coach of the year! What is he supposed to do? Finish at Centrals and just sit at home on a Saturday? I would much prefer him doing what he is now, giving back to all the kids in the club where he started and teaching them some of what he knows!

I don't claim to be an angel, but surely Scud can't be serious when he critises other players for carrying on like knobs on a Saturday. i've got nothing against stirring the pot and giving a bit of niggle but you can't sook about it when you get a bit back.

i have no issue at all about what goes on in the heat of battle on a saturday afternoon during the game... as long as its not personal, then go your hardest... Yes it would be hard to take if i was talking about his actions during the game..because that is how i play and yes i play like a knob on the field, but never have i carried it out after the game as from that final siren i reckon its all about getting to the bar for a beer... Sam Mcardle did not play saturday and sat behind the goals abusing me all day and i took that as trying to put me off and i could undestand that... but as i was walking off the field after the game he wanted to keep going and there were kids kicking the football on the oval watching him have a crack at me, that was just wrong... take it as you like SWAMP, but i reckon you would agree that once that siren goes it country football so just get over it!!!

and MC for the record, i didnt mean not to play but you'd think after having a great career at the dog's you would not get involved in verbals on a saturday afternoon over country football... i cant believe i use to be his biggest fan...

Sometimes it doesn't pay to meet your idols hey Scud. Agree, Sam doesn't endear himself to me either. I don't know the bloke too well but something tells me he doesn't give a sh*t what people think of him. He does take things too far. once the game is over, you shut up.

We were coming off the oval and he had another smart ass comment to say. When Brett approched him to have a chat ;) he kept walking away. Just a wanker on and off the field. When I asked him if young Charlie was ok he had a smart ass come back as well. The guy has seriously got some issues.
Back to the creek it is.

The old man is just as fiesty. I found this out watching the cricket one day at Longies and made the mistake of asking who the f**k he was after he gave me some unprovoked attitude...I know who he is now :D

Never met him but I believe the people at United acknowledge his behaviour can be questionable at times but they certainly appreciate his work with the juniors at the club all the same.

I guess it's like people at other clubs not liking scud all that much for his on-field antics but people at his own club embrace him antics and all. Well, most of them I imagine. 8)

It was a bit of sarcasm LM in MH's defence. I'm not sure if that makes it any less unacceptable.

Interesting that only 3 players from the winning Landmark Cup team were selected in the Central Zone team. Its pretty obvious where the coach is from though. Great effort from our boys though, I'm tipping Caleb Howell will be at an SANFL club next season ;) He's a gun!
