What do you consider "up to standard"? Its 5th Division Ammatuer Footy!

Add SANFL, SANFL Reserves, SANFL Under 18's, then its 8th Division Footy in this state! Not even including country leagues.

So yes I'd say the Umpiring is right "up to standard" with the standard of footy being played. Like it or not![/quote]

Jabber excuse my ignorance if you have already mentioned if you saw the game or not, I am only going on that you are from Plympton.
If you saw the game can you honestly say you would be happy with that standard of umpiring every week? If you didn't see it, ask any of you A grade players what they thought. I would be interested in their response.
May I also point out that not one North Haven person has suggested the umpires influenced the result. Just so frustrating to see two good teams having a crack at eachother only for the umpires to want to be the center of attention.
They are straight to their word, they don't talk a lot of smoke and mirrors behind windows.

Also at half time we will be showcasing a ‘mini-league’ match between our under 8 and under 9 junior teams.

sorry HV no ladies day this sat but im very positive it will be a big crowd for 3 big games... cannot wait!

Jabber, if you saw the game, you would know Rory didnt deserve either one of his yellow cards, and now he could be missing two games. If you or one of your players got suspended for nothing, im sure you'd have a different attitude to the situation.

I saw the PFC V NH game and dont think anyone can SERIOUSLY have an opinion on the debacle other than who were there...
Most confusing and out of control umpiring I have ever seen and do not blame anybody for bagging them!!!!! After the game was a disgrace let alone during.
I bet the umpires themselves would agree they had a shocker but at least they have a crack, just a pity the SAAFL can't find any better.
I dont have thick enough skin to do it and don't envy any of them.

I'm talking about the bagging of umpiring generally, not specific to this game.

There have been plenty of times that I feel I've been hard done by during games of footy. I got reported once and had to go to SAAFL house and sit there for hours only to have my case thrown out in seconds. I know umpires make strange decisions, I've been an umpire and made a decision that I thought was so obviously there only to work out a few moments later that I'd totally ****** it up!

But whinging about them doesn't solve the problem. That's all my point is here. And the umpiring standard is generally atuned to the standard that you're playing.

You want the best umpires that the SAAFL reckon it has to offer, we'll get urself, or your club up to divvy one. Because they aren't going to waste thier time running around in div 5 for half the $$. Or conversely ring the SAAFL and say "we want to pay full tote odds for a divvy 1 standard umpire". But until then, pay peanuts, get monkeys.

This is the last i will say on the subject but for the third time these were not SAAFL umpires!!!!!!!!! Just to clarify, these were not SAAFL umpires.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Three cracker games! C grade 3v4 loser put a game behind top 3
B grade 5v6 Plympton need to win this to have anychance of playing finals this year.
A grade, well if you can remember these two sides were on the verge of relegation when they met back in round 5, now if Plympton win they could of secured a double chance. And hope valley need to win otherwise it could almost be curtains.

Anyway get down to the Real kennel this Saturday to watch so ripper games of footy, and maybe see some magic from jabber in the C's

No harm in looking BFG, you can attest to that as apparently all the CLG boys will be scoping out your other half at the black tie dinner this weekend
