Re: India in England
England 221
Broad 64
Strauss 32
Bell 31
Kumar 3/46
Sharma 3/66
Sreesanth 3/76
India 1/24
Seems to be a bit in the deck, which is not unusual for England.
England probably lucky to get over 200, but they did and thats all that matters.

Re: India in England
What was going through KP's head? In form and bating nicely in the first session he comes out just after lunch and is distracted by a flap on a window with a white blind that passess for a 'sightscreen' at trent bridge. It was open all morning but KP spots it after lunch, holds up play and bats on even though it wasn't covered up by ground staff. He collects a couple of runs and the flap is removed as the blind is pulled back. Next ball KP nicks one into the slips.
DOH. Funny stuff except I reckon that once KP goes England seem to lose their way a bit. With Cook not firing up yet KP is the key wicket. Can't blame Trott for missing out for once and Strauss fought hard. Anyone know why Tremlett is out?
regards,
REB

India now 8/273
Broad gets a HAT TRICK although the 2nd wicket, Harbajan Singh LBW should NOT have been out as he SMASHED the ball into his pads but because India refused to use the referrals for LBWs, Singh coul;dn't review the obvious error.

Re: India in England
What was Bell thinking
Just assumed the ball had gone for 4 or over was called, but last ball for tea he just walked off towards the pavilion and was rightly run out. Crazy

Seems Dhoni has withdrawn the appeal, if so, big kudos to him.
