Tristian Gum will be an out for Sturt, apparently going under the knife for an issue with the dreaded OP.

Of the possible players to return from injury for Central, I think Paul Thomas is probably the only one assured of playing league.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Andrew Hayes and James Boyd come back through the reserves but we will find out more tomorrow afternoon with selection.

Is James Gowans back this week too? If so he would come straight back in.

I would think so. I think he was back running last wednesday at full pace.

Local Footy SA article wrote:And it is likely to be without gun midfielder Tristan Gum who has succumbed to osteitis pubis.
``He's been playing but struggling,'' Sturt football manager Duane Massey said.
``It's slowed him down the last few weeks and they (medicos) might send him in for an operation.''

Could be named in the reserves possibly? That said, I haven't seen the Dogs seconds side though.

Not named in the two's, sadly - neither is Varcoe who I thought may be back this week.

CENTRAL RESERVES:
Ryan Bottin-Noonan, Matthew Claughton, Sam Colquhoun, Adam Cullen, Ashley Duncan, Caleb Edmead, Ashley Fry, Dallas Hill, Damian Hynes, Paul Marschall, Cameron Milne, Charlie Molyneux, Matthew Prior, Steve Rusca, Travis Schiller, Jake Snowden, Luke Thompson, Josh Vater, Nick White and Josh Wittwer.
I'm assuming this is the Crows listed player Luke Thompson who usually plays for the Eagles?

Is there any chance of more guests playing for Centrals or Sturt ressies. Logan was dropped from Power, thought he might get a run and Port still have to trim their squad down a couple
