:? Who is Bandwagon??

We cant make finals now so im gonna tip against us. Hope it helps me
Mallala 40+ - Virginia 40+ - United 40+

At a guess Pinky I think bandwagon might be Rick Shaw in the paper.

Pretty sure i know who the bloke is and its fair to say, pretty piss poor article this week, screaming of tall poppy syndrome. Given the level of detail provided in this weeks edition, suggests he is United through and through, and didn't pull on a jumper this week. Given its the only game of the year that his club gets more 30 people under the veranda, its quite amusing to hear they took offence to opposition fans cheering louder than them.

Agreed Swamp twas a pretty average article but this rickshaw tosser is not from united i can assure you. Do you ever see him hanging sh&^%t on balaklava? I think not! If you were to look back earlier in the year in the producer he was all over united like a cheap suit any chance he got! I think you will find the same person considers all united wins are upsets on this forum. I was out at the tower on the weekend and considered it quite a good contest. Joel Mont is one of the best country footballers i have ever seen.

Im starting to narrow Rick down, but I agree that the article this week was a cheap shot. But, at least it wasnt a cheap shot at us like it Hazbeen for most of the year.

Fair call SG. Admittedly some Mallala fans do over step the line on occasions with their rooting, so hard to defend that one :D

Certainly was a good contest under the tower, Joel was great and has been all year, he's having his best year at the club in my opinion, he's a class act. Heath Pym was equally as impressive on Saturday too, he proved to be the difference in the end with 5 goals. Classy player. United showed some real character to get up for Mansfield's 200th (?) and I thought the magpies also showed some heart to fight back from 5 goal down early in the 2nd qtr, but to loose by under a kick was disappointing. United were too good on the day. Great effort by Mansfield though. Arriving at the club as an import and hanging around to play 200 quality games is a huge effort. Without guys such as him and the likes of Trav Opitz, Ben Sobey at United whom have hung around after being recruited to the club as imports, United would be far worse off. I know Trav has played his 200 at least and is adding to that with his coaching, but how about Sobey??

Funny about fans and crowds here. Didn't think any were too bad, although Virginia looked like a vicious mob come the last quarter when we played there.

But no crowd in the APFL, in my experience, comes close to Weeroona Bay in Whyalla or Waikerie in the Riverland. As a whole, the APFL spectators are gentlemen in comparison.

Joel Mont is a lock for the Producer Medal now IMO. Don't think I've seen a midfielder have such a consistent year.

Looking forward to putting a market up at the season's end, but Mont will be starting at $1.30.

I'm tipping Whitwell - Montgomerie tie. That'd be a quiet night. Both will place. Odds?

Odds of a Whitwell/Mont tie? Or odds on Whitwell straight out? I would offer Whits at $10. A Whits/Mont tie, $14s.

Getting keen to do a market now. See how I go for time. Still very slow after getting on it with Andrew and Darren Jarman on Wednesday night.
