You would thnk BL will beat Locks, so Rosewater or Adel Luth to be relegated.
roseis play WC, Al play NH.

The loser out of HV and WS could still be relegated if BL, AL and RW all get up! We could finish as high as fourth or be in div 6. Unbelievable!

8 wins and relegated would be unheard of wouldn't it??

Modbury got relegated from Div 1 in 2009 with 6 wins.
Unley would have also been relegated in 2008 with 6 wins but stayed up because of Edwardstown leaving I think?

That's the highhest amount of wins for a side in the bottom 2 over the last 7 years.

8 wins and relegation will certainly be a new record, but not one that any club will want!

too good hope valley well done.. good new changerooms, still sucks playing on the deck though and i would hate to play there 9 times a year.. they seemed to be used to it as it seemed like we were the only ones slipping over..

looks like if we win next week will stay up

Ok - so thre are only 2 certaintles next week - Plympton will finish 3rd and Lockleys will finish 10th - so lets fill in all the possibilites:

Only 2 of the 3 teams sitting on 8 wins can win next week.

Salisbury West- Will remain top unless a) they lose and b) West Croydon flog Rosewater

West Croydon - will remain in 2nd unless the above happens

North Haven - win and they remain 4th, lose and can drop only drop to 6th because of the half game advantage

Hope Valley - Win and we'll stay 5th unless North Haven lose and we can grab 4th. Lose and we'll finish anywhere from 7th-9th

Not many sides would have been relegated with a % above 50!
Lutheran still a chance to, such a wasted season.. They've been so competitive..
Woody South have hit back hard in 2nd half of season, looked gone a couple of months ago.

Footy chick not sure what your on about, north haven can't miss out on finals. Even if the loose they finish 5th. I do like how u forget to leave woody sth out of your write up.
If woody sth win they play finals.... And finish 4 or 5th.

BMAC that would have been an oversight as FC and I were talking last night and you are in exactly the same boat as us. win and play finals lose and hope like hell results fall our way.very uncomfortable position to be in I must admit [-o<

Settle down :? , I had to go out and didnt get to finish it off (notice there was none of the bottom 5 teams in there), I obviously pressed submit by accident. Bit paranoid about being left out are we? Sounds like someone always got picked last at school ;)

PS; Ok, my maths isn't great (in fact I'm the first to admit it's shitehouse) - I was going on the possibility of both Valleys and WS winning next week... and obviously that can't happen

Minimal or low wattage lighting in the visitors changerooms will get you off on the right foot to winning ;)

Complete reversal actually QM. 09 we were 6-3 at the halfway mark and had some injuries and lack of fitness which saw us fall away and get completely destroyed by blacks.

11 sees us 7-3 out of our last 10 and aside from the salisbury west game where we were completely outclassed, could have very easily been 9-1 had luck gone our way against plympton and west croydon (taking nothing away from those 2 sides).

Not saying we are shoe-ins by any stretch next sat but we will head into this weekend with strong belief, generated from the win in which we managed to withstand 3-4 challenges from a very determined brahma lodge.

Woody south will be high on confidence following their win also and like us in a way, hitting form at the right time. Promises to be a cracking game and the winner probably deserves to be in the finals.

If we do lose sat (not that i want to think that way) we only have ourselves to blame. 1,2 and 3 point losses to plympton, luthies and sals. west earlier in the season "should" have all been wins and we wouldnt be in this predicament.

Here is hoping for our sake we can get the win against the cats and not have to think about what might have been.

yeah that actually got a mention in the prematch address yesterday.however with massive injury list in 2009 and 2010 we limped to the line. we have only 2 A grade players unavailable at the moment which is amazing :D
