Firstly, I should apologise for tippers who did not put their tips in, as I tipped for the upsets, none came and I finished with my first donut of the year (in the tipping comp that is). Therefore, given the circumstances, I have awarded the second lowest score of the weekend to those tipsters who missed the round for varying reasons, whether they've given up (like me) or just couldn't get there for what ever reason. Up the right end of the ladder, the gap has closed to one point between league leader UNDERthePACK and the chasing pair of Swamp Donkey and Hazbeen. Both SD and HB nailed the perfect week at the right time, securing the six points and sneaking up behind UTP, who will no doubt be feeling the heat. Jumbo's five points also takes him to fourth overall, a solid effort, but still 10 points from cracking the top three. Will we see a bit of gamesmanship over the final two rounds? Remember the second-placed lads are playing for the CASH!

We have only had 4 close games. Lost to Two Wells at the start of the year by 4 points then the next week against Mallala by 1 point. Luckily we returned serve and beat Mallala last week by 5points and fell over the line this week by 3points.

I think two wells hav been in heaps this year.

Gotta give Two Wells junior colts huge credit on the weekend for making a genuine game of footy on the weekend against us. With the U/14 association carnival played yesterday Dave Gameau rested the 4 players picked from Two Wells which evened up the two sides pretty well and allowed all players to get a kick of the footy and not just the dominant bigger guys on the ground. Worked well for us as our guys were always a chance to score and maintain competitiveness and it worked well for Two Wells with all of their lesser guys having to stand up giving them more of an opportunity to improve their football. The best thing was that there was no need for the mercy rule and the end result was about 5 goals.

Was easily the best display of Junior coaching I have seen and I can see why David Gameau was Junior coach of the year last year and IMO should be a monty to win it again this year.

Scud should be able to shed some light on that one MC trying to act the enforcer for the young Hamley boys......it was actually cringe worthy Hindsight suggests he should have sunk the boots in, given would've been his only kick for the day I'm looking forward to hearing from each member of the fan club this week anyway .

I'm not sure if this is true but as far a's I know all he did was go over and listen to Chris Hummel at half time talk to his players and got a bottle shoved in his chest by some peanut. I wonder if it was the parent of the same kid who dropped the c bomb.

I find it very hard to imagine that Normy or Scud got under the oppositions skin,
seems to have been a bit of argy-bargy in the Plains this year with Spectators and Players and Juniors 'mixing' in the wrong way,
