Very true, look over the three most successfull periods over the past 20 years and tell me the coaches of these side were the difference.
South early 90s 1990- 1993 3 premierships
Nuri Mid 90s to 2000 5 premierships
Tanunda 2008- current 4 premiershipsMost experts still say the South side of the early 90s when the comp was at its strongest was the best seen in the BLGFA, though Taununda's side a few years ago was awsome too, has dropped a bit of late but so has the rest of the comp.

So be prepared for quite a few rubbish grounds to be holding any finals. I'm sure we are all looking forward to playing Semi finals at Williamstown in the mud, or another Grand Final on the basically concrete square at Tanunda! Agreed Nuri is one of the best grounds around when its a dry day, but you cant play every game in the finals at Nuri.
Any ground in the League can be horrible to play on if you think about it, just need the weather to play its part.

Surely you don't get that prize for just running a place. With what he's got to pick from, if they don't make the GF he's not the COTY

Unfortunately in years gone by the system has not been to the benefit of a lot of successful clubs, But with this new rotation, you can rest easy in knowing Tanunda will get a final atleast once each 3 years.
