What a final round we will have on our hands this weekend with three tipsters poised to take out the overall competition. UNDERthePACK and Swamp Donkey both nailed the margin in the Two Wells v Mallala game to go two and one point clear respectively of Hazbeen. Hazbeen and Swamp Donkey will be fighting out their own battle for the cash competition, although I reckon second place gets their entry fee back (I think, will confirm), so nothing to lose. Plenty of perfect scores this week with Old Son rocking up after a long break and AKA flew the Virginia flag well, both collecting the six points along with UTP and SD. Fog Horn Leg Horn leap-frogged norm11, who I met on the weekend and forgot to ask for my $10 he owes me for entering this competition for him. Haha. Mythical Creature and Bob Loblaw can be thanked for the round-low of three points, which affected a number of posters who have given up the ghost this year. One round to go. If leaders want to PM me their tips this week, feel free, or you can make them public, what ever you like.

Some tough games this week, league leaders Virginia take on Balak at Pecker Park, United host Hamley and HWE have a chance to knock off Mallala at the 'Pies home deck. Good luck to all.

By the way, was good to have a chat with Brett "The White Bolt" Burgess, who I stood for five minutes in the last quarter (enough time for him to kick a goal on me).

Separate note, I heard there was a huge catfight on the scoreboard side of the oval after the match. Didn't see it but apparently it was entertaining.

Finally, thought Would would (lol) have featured higher in the BPs. Pepe was damn good in the ruck, fair enough, but Would did several really good things around the ground and kicked a few goals. Maybe I'm wrong, just my thoughts.

Catty played on the weekend for the first time in a month or so, since getting injured whilst play fighting with his cousin in the Terminus Hotel. Haha.

Wheaton, hard to tell. Wouldn't think he's a chance to return any time soon, strained his hammy again against Hummocks in the B grade at Lochiel a few weeks back.
Pity for him, had a good preseason but only played a handful of games this year. I haven't seen him at training since.

I hear Caleb Howell is running again and will be ready for finals.

Caleb was Virginias runner on Saturday so he may get up for finals. Still looked a bit proppy but it wasnt easy running in the boggy parts especially with a crook knee. Wilkey def hurt his ankle but not sure how bad, would probably get up for the GF or Prelim I would think.

Sammy's just easing himself back into it, Rundle is no chance at all. Bit of a mystery what happened to Hardcore really, is he injured or did he just find love?

hardie did a bad ankle before assocation weekend and was made to prove his fitness at the last assocation training which made it worse and now has finished his season, just to keep some bloodly board members happy that he was injured.

Guess who's back guys!!!!! great holiday. but was deserved. i am sorry it really was a blonde moment doing that, i only saw the funny side of it and it didnt click to me that it was against the rules. until i got given the holiday and i realised what i did, so i am sorry!!!

was good to play on you on song even if it was for a couple minutes, was a good chat, enjoy your knowledge on football. but just a warning dont be admitting to actually having a conversation with me lol...

must agree with you about tom would, only touched on what this kid can do, he has come back this year from a knee injury and is slowly getting there but saturday was his best game of the year and deserved to be higher, not sure what goes on at the bridge with the best players, been happening all year   just joking, everyone has a different view that is the beauty of our game!!!

also just on another note aswell, im the first to put my hand up when ive made a dick of myself or done something wrong, but a week ago at mallala during 17's i did not over step the mark at all, fully in my rights to listen to the opposition coach... thanks mongoose for fighting my battle, your a good mate.

Maybe Norm could give me the $10 this weekend which I could pass on to you, and at the same time he could give me the carton of beer he still owes me from last year. :D :drinkers:
