Thanks guys
Looks like the 36ers have now completed their roster too with the signing of back up centre Wade Helliwell who was released by the Tigers after last season. Not much of a player but in all fairness probably as good as a back up big man the team could probably find.

The Boomers have finished the tournament in London with a close win in overtime against hosts Great Britain.
Australia 91 (Newley 23, Ingles 16, Gibson 13, Maric 10) def Great Britain 90 (OT) (Deng 26, Freeland 22)
The Boomers now head to Spain for a two game series against their national team, if they suit up anything even approaching a full strength side we'll be in a world of trouble.
In NBL pre-season results the Sydney Kings have beaten the touring Drake University 95-62.

Are the Melbourne Tigers about to sign Patty Mills? That would be a huge signing, I was hoping Adelaide would land him.

Confirmed, big day for the NBL with Patty Mills signing with the Tigers but will return to the NBA when the lockout ends.

I wonder what Ayinde Ubaka thinks of the signing?
