The ground has held up better than it has for the last 2 or 3 years. Even if it stops raining today, it will probably be slippery under foot and the mud in the centre square isn't going anywhere. I'm sure the C grade and B grade would have churned it up nicely by the time the A grade get on it!

The goalposts are still at either end and the centre circle will more than likely be on one of the two wings rather than dead centre. Whatever the condition of the oval is, it will be the same for both sides and whoever kicks a higher score will win.

Last night I did see a little scallywag on a ladder taking out the fluro's in the new visitors rooms to give you North Haven boys a fitting welcome to the new changerooms ;) I couldn't see 3ft in front of myself

Could it be Uncle Charlie's last game in charge of the Demons on Saturday. If it is, expect him to get emotional.

Hope not for two reasons:

1) We win and play next week

and

2) He coaches again next year

Just been told that woody souths relegation of 8 wins may not be the first time that a team with 8 wins has been relegated, apparently old iggies got relegated with 8 some time in the 90s (so i've been told)

So based on Farbs indepth information on the ground it would be safe to say Hope Valley Oval was in better condition than the submerged TTG oval.
Slightly submerged?

There may be a bit of water on the surface in places, will just depend on how much more rain we get, how much wind and how much sunshine :)

I'd rather a bit of water than pot holes though ;)

And bring your sunnies, the lights in the new changerooms are pretty bright!

Will do. 8)

Already sounds like it'll be a bit of a slog on Saturday but conditions and weather aside as SD said, whoever kick the highest score will win.

Woodville South has been a up and down club for many years.Started in the SAAFL in 1979 in A4 hit A1 in the late eighties, dropped down to A5 in 1995,hit A1 again in 2005 and obvisiouly down to A6 for the first time in its history in 2011.We are a proud club and im sure we can climb the grades again as we have done in the past.

Has there been any falling out at Woody South since Saturday. I too have never seen an 8-10 club relegated

No failing out mate. Bomber was reappointed the weekend before the Hope Valley game and has confirmed he will go on next year. Going down to div 6 the way we did is probably a bonus as many players i have talked too believe that the Cats have unfinished business. So i would believe we will have roughly the same team next year as we did this year..

I thought Timmy Sumner would have got a berth.

The only one out of the 5 or 6 I picked that's not in the mix.
