Congrats to Duggy and Dene, both played blinders against us. Have played footy against Duggy since juniors and always knew he would be a superstar. Dene is a few years younger and has a very bright future. Well done again lads

Well done to Duggy & Steele on winning the medal, I think the umpire's get a bad wrap sometimes, but this time I think they did get it right. I think Duggy has started playing better when he got on the jellybeans, all that extra sugar to burn :lol:

Congratulations to 2 very talented footballers, both of who I've had the pleasure of training, Dene with the U18 state side and of course Duggy at Hope Valley.

Dene is barely 21 and already has 2 medals under his belt.

Maybe he needed that game off to freshen up a bit and if he didn't go to Melbs then he may have missed more and not got second

Does anyone know how much A grade footy Dene has played? I remember playing on him in my first A grade game back in 2009, we sat in a pocket all day and did sweet FA.

Umpires seem to focus more on Midfielders and Forwards rather than defenders unfortunately.
