Well Kadina beat Bute by 43 points yesterday.

The last round is now interesting. The loser of the Bute and Crows game will miss out on the double chance if Moonta beat Pasky. Maybe both teams can call a draw and play each other againg in the Qualifying Final.

Bloods had an easy win over over rated fast Bute players. For the last 6 weeks Bute have been big fish in a small pond, but they couldn't swim with the sharks. Nelson and Slade were very slow, too old and collected their pension at the end of the game. When the tough got going the Millers got going. lucky there is a fence around bute other wise those two wouldn't have been on the oval. Too scared. How good are Bute going when Nelson gets best on. at half time he was icing up an old hammy. Their ruckmen gets 3rd best and doesnt get a hit out. Bute have to justify thier money somewhere. Westy's guess is that Bute cant make the GF. Kadina V Moonta grand final. any other guesses from you computer/dream team footballers???

Has gone very quiet on here since Bute were sent packing by the hounds.

My GF prediction Westy is a Hounds V Crows in the big one down at Yorketown. Hounds won the flag there last time can see it happning again.

Who are the big chances for the medal Lawson from Kadina a chance or big Willy Searle going to steal to many votes? Has Nelson played enough games to win it?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Well done to Troy Mulders from Pasky for kicking the winning goal to help ANDAMOOKA to a grand final berth. Nail bitting footy to watch, Good stuff from the Roos, who have had 7 YP players for the year.

Please spread the word to the ladies in your lives :D ...

Female Footy is heading to the YORKE PENINSULA!!!

Girls and Ladies (all ages) from far and wide are invited to attend the Inaugural Female Footy comp, starting in September.

This summer comp will run for approx 7-8 weeks, including finals.

No specific age limit is being targeted; ideally we would love to have junior, youth girls, and women's comps... but as this is only the begininning we will go with the flow.

None of this would be possible if it wasn't for the amazingly proactive people behind the scenes. Wendy Ault and Rob Rankine have been the spark igniting this dream, and it would be awesome to see it take off the ground so quickly.

Info for Yorke Peninsula Women’s Football League Information & Come & Try Day is :
Date: SUNDAY 25th September
Time: 11.00AM
Venue: Stansbury Sports & Community Club, Cnr Weaver Street and South Terrace, Stansbury

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me on here, or email: emmag@sanfl.com.au
or, contact Wendy Ault- wmault62@hotmail.com

Tip for the weekend? Hounds wouldnt wanna go out in straight sets like in 2007. Im hearing good things about the CMS Crows will Clements play?

Im tipping the hounds by 25 points, Faulkner to play yet another finals blinder.

Kadina beat the Crows by 101 points. This sets up a mouth watering showdown with Bute next saturday at Yorketown. Anyone got any idea of the entry cost?

Good luck to the Kadina football club who have all 4 grades in the grand final.
Southern Eagles A graders that are playing in the B grade final should have a good hard look at themselves.
