Well you have your bite bomberrob, hook, line and sinker.

Rather play at HV than an oval where encountering used syringes is just another obstacle....

thats a myth

hope valley's c5 team certainly can't play their grand final on their home ground which is probably why the c5, div 5 reserve games have had their venues swapped.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

ok here i go IMO ....well saturdays b grade game got brought forward coz apparently ur c grade had a final at home & wanted ur B grade supporters their to watch??? which other clubs in the SAAFL get them favours???

No offence but fill me in when its ever been about Hope Valley's C grade  love to hear your explanation

I will excuse your ignorance on this matter but if you look at other venues this season and past years in finals where clubs (not only Hope Valley) have two sides competing at different venues on the same day they start the early game 15 mins earlier and the later game 15 mins late to allow support staff/ trainers and yes supporters to get to the other ground. by the way,I missed the 1st quarter of the C grade as I had to travel from Plympton to Hope Valley in 25 mins.Hope that explains it for you  Perhaps the 15 minutes extra your A grade had to warm up wore them out ;)

No myth Quiet Riot, truth mate (and no i dont have proof as unfortunately photos half way through our warm up simply are not possible).

Obstacles i dont need to go into on here QR. West Croydon as a club have gone up both on field and off field in recent seasons, and my comments are based on experiences when your reputation was taking a fair battering. All im saying is don't throw rocks at glass houses (not you personally) but bomberrob.

Its a bit displeasing tho having the B grade all the way out in Hope Valley for 2 teams that are based in the city, and on the west of the city...at least make it close to the clubs playing...

My other problem is the time of the game, all year the B grade play at 12:15 or close to that time, yet the grand final is played at 2:30??? seems a bit odd to change it all of a sudden, i know its the same for both teams and you may say that it doesnt matter but I reckon it does cos players can get used to routine, its in our human nature and when things change in routine things go crazy and faeces hit the fan...

Good luck to both teams tho, and to the A graders as well, lets hope the best 2 teams get the chocies

I can't believe i've read this junk for the last page or so, and i have to say its typical SA style whinging!

If someone said to me at the start of the season "i'm going to offer you the chance to play in a GF right now, for your club, but the only catch is you have to play it at Port Augusta at 3am on a wednesday" who wouldn't take that??? So why all this carry on (pork chop like) about where the games are and what time they are?? Big deal! Some people just need something to whinge about or they aren't happy.

I tell you what, there are a lotta lotta people that walk through the doors at footy clubs that never ever ever get a chance to play in a GF, and some of them would be the most deserving on earth to win a flag, but they don't get the opportunity. They would play the game on the moon if they had to.

Put it all back into perspective, grow up, and stop whinging about shit that means **** all.

Shit Jabber, I agree with you  I'd prefer the longer journey, the bus trip on the way back from a winning Grand Final is just as memorable as any other part of the day, it gives more time for the supporters to get back to the club and greet you when you get off the bus.

You can relax now bomberrob, Div 5R is now at St Mary's...

...Hope Valley supporters and officials can now ALL go watch the C grade as we won't be hosting any Grand Finals

We don't schedule the finals

If your club ever had more than one team in a final, then you might understand some logistical problems that could arise. The SAAFL have done their best to accomodate these issues for MOST clubs that have come across them

It will be cheaper to go watch Norwood vs South at Coopers Stadium.
