Arsenal as good as through now. Walcott makes it 2-1 on the night and 3-1 on aggregate

Re: Champions League 2011/12
The only thing that irks me with the draw is the co-efficient crap. Dortmund won the title in Germany and yet get put into pot 4 whilst Leverkusen and Bayern Munich get seeded higher even though they finished 2nd and 3rd. I know it goes on past history but Arsenal seeded in pot A after having to come through qualifying is a joke

To make the CL more exciting at this stage they should have no seeds and put all teams in one pot and draw them out one by one.You could get some cracking groups and gives the smaller teams half a chance to win the CL, but the big clubs would not be happy with that.

Hey Jim hushquite happy with that group
now lets hope that man city sruggle
My point was more about Dortmund, poor buggers were champions but go unseeded into a difficult group whilst bayern get an easier group for finishing runner up.

Re: Champions League 2011/12
Got up for the match tonight and I will admit it was wierd not seeing Arsenal play the passing game, for once they jst did what they had too to get the draw. Dortmunds goal was fantastic and it was in from the moment the guy hit the volley. I was impressed with Yossi in the midfield but I dont like the formation Wengers playing. Szcsceny was brillant in goals.

Re: Champions League 2011/12
Arsenal should have won, thought Dortmund were very average. Flicked between the 3 matches on TV this morning and i must say i wasnt impressed by both German sides. Leverkusen especially were rubbish, if Chelsea had played a decent striker instead of Torres the dud they would have slaughtered them.
Are there a few cracks appearing at Barca? They conceded goals in the first and last minute to get a 2-2 draw with Milan, was a very un-barca like performance and ive seen them in the Primera league and their defence has looked shaky and they have dropped points to a couple of ordinary sides

Really he sets up 2 goals and thats the comment he gets, do we remember last season when your beloved wanye rooney couldnt hit a barn door and it took him half a season + penaltys for him to score, did anyone complain no why, cause he was still setting them up, he scored 9 last year not excalty house on fire stuff. Also just a side note Drogba wasn't fantastic in his first season and half at chelsea we have seen what came of that.
Nice finish by Luiz after being set up by TORRES and also good dribble and pass by TORRES to set up mata (i know its meant to be the other way round but meh). Dortmund played alright just couldn't finish (bit like the side they where facing, nice passing game no bite up front).
Milan where fantastic, Nesta was great and that tackle that made Messi like a schoolboy was gold. They went there and play a very Italian game, only had a couple chances but made barca pay and where more than fine to let them have the ball and soak up pressure, also people who say Italians dive, need to watch Barca then come back to me and Danny Alves is an absoulte knob head, he makes Christiano Ronaldo, Drogba etc look like saints the amounts he play acts and robbie savage like a saint the amount he hacks (see the shove of Nesta in the signage and then the refusal to help him up or shake his hand).
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Did you even watch the game? Arsneal were not passing like Arsenal does. They went in for the draw a win was a bonus and they were 2 mins away from doing so playing UGLY.
