I believe selection was something like this

BB : can't have the umpires in white this weekend, it's the Grand Final after all, plus Virginia have a white V
Comm : yea BB good idea, what then
BB : how about Red - we have some tops from Association?
Comm : nah BB - Virginia has Red in their V as well.
BB : good point Comm team, how about dayglow Orange?
Comm : nah BB - we gave those tops away at the Zone games this year
BB : you're right - forgot about that, how about those Yellow tops we have?
Comm : c'mon BB, Balak have Yellow stripes in their guernsey!!
BB : correct again Comm, you blokes are on the ball. I guess that leaves those Dark green tops?
Comm : yep, yes, that's probably best, we haven't used them yet - be a good day to show them off. OPSM will be happy.
BB : excellent idea, Green it is - I'll let OPSM know and Virginia and Balaklava. Have the umpires also read up on the player counting rules.

Just an early message to wish me ol' mate On Song the best of luck in the grand final this weekend. Is he the lucky charm?

Caleb was the difference on Saturday, I'm tipping Nicklaus to have a massive one this week, he's overdue.

Someone must have given them some new shirts, probably AFL handouts with OPSM on the back. Still doesn't help their eyesight or decision making! ;)

Been to a few games this season there Seagull?

What happens if these gun local players who threatened to leave dont play anyway? Im gonna keep in mind that the gun local players holding the board to randsom have taken the club to 5 wooden spoons in a row??? Would of been a good chance to get rid of the dead wood!

Led to believe of the 7 players that crashed the meeting only 2 would be borderline A-Grade footballers in a side that challenges for the top 4. Also dont believe every player was asked about the coach. It was more of a case of ask the players who you know you will get the answer you want to hear.
I would imagine any prospective coaches would steer well away from HBFC after hearing of this shambles and treatment of Nelson.
By the way Catterall and Lockwood asked for more money and were denied by the club this is why they have left and good on the club for doing that.
Are they going to pay Nelson out? Might be a good idea since he knocked back 2 other coaching jobs to keep this one, wouldnt want him seeking compensation for loss of income etc etc

WOW! Days i dont think you could be further from the truth on the Lockwood/Catterall issue. They were offered more money to stay but thought better of it, i know for a fact both parties ummed and ahhed on whether to re-sign but ended up signing elsewhere alot closer to home. Saying stuff like that makes them look greedy, trust me they earn enough money in their day to day jobs.
Get that corn outta my face!!

Laughed at Rick Shaw article bagging the Hamley huddle and if they scrapped it would reduce other teams scoring shots! I vote Rick Shaw to coach them. Maybe he already was!
