Nobby symes does a terrific job as president, and just because on a couple of medal nights he shows a bit of passion towards to great players, he gets criticised.

Any side that had of played against Tanunda yesterday would have been dealt the same cards as what willaston had to deal with. Tanunda are an excellent football side and one of the best that ive ever seen, hats off to them and well done for saturdays result in both senior grades.

I think you will find that Willaston has made their own bed now they need to lie in it.

The bed Willaston will be laying in you will find will be extremely warm and comfortable after having a great season and exceeding all expectations. All the knockers of the club must be kidding themselves, the club is going forward , has a great list of young players who all seem to get on well and enjoy playing footy with each other. Jealously is a curse???

Wasn't O'Connor given his marching orders from the GSFL club. So he would be a free agent. Already coached Willaston and Barossa in BL&G.

He certainly was given his marching orders. Should be put in the 'Do not appoint as coach' basket with Simon Johnson and Shayne Mitchell. Those 3 blokes would have covered nearly every football club in the state!!!!

No idea seagull, A Jones, T Rozman, R Roosewell all played in GF and are under 21, T Bornhault, K Rickard and T Irlam all played multiple A grade games this year and pretty sure they have another year of junior football left.
Same negative dribble about a club that's worked it's backside off to drag its self of the bottom, your all class.

Has the trigger been pulled on Wacka?
I think Kapunda forgot to add a footnote "if genuinely intersted in applying, you need not apply" The tree huggers have hung people for less. Stop wasting paper.
Hearing there may be some retirements and player movements coming from both camps after yesterdays game?

hearing the same
AJ Prior to Eudunda
Nick Schmidt to possibly join him
The Underwood brothers back to Waikerie or retire
Ben Newberry and Craig Bevan to possibly join them

Greenwood and Schubert to Eudunda.
South chasing Mensforth
Parish to Angaston
Kennedy on the move but wont be back to Tanunda
Will Billy Wells finally take the huge offers he gets year after year.

Very quiet on the coaching front at Freeling will it be october 9 before we have their coach/es confirmed?

It is of course the much anticipated silly season and maybe none of this will happen

Well what can I say but fan bloddy tastic, great day for us Blockies. Do have to say well done to Ango for hosting a top event, plenty of food & drinks, well organised with parking etc.

Willaston put up a great tussle all day, credit to their backmen and S Baker, good tuff game with a few spot fires but nothing you wouldn't expect in a GF. Great to see the Willaston boys hook with the Tanunda lads today for a rather large drinking session, great sportsmanship shown by both sides.

Just love the talk of who is leaving, I can't see too many changes at Tanunda but we will see come round 1 2012.

I'm off to bed.

Popped into the chimney painting this morning for cheese and bickies and a little Frank Schnabel.
Think I may have double parked in front of Swoppers car.

Once again seagull you havnt let us down with negative swipes at the Donnies, give yourself a pat on the back. I reakon the Mc leans are Willaston born and bred and throw Williams in there as well which you missed, not sure if you would play 4 x 16 year olds in a GF ??,the clubs still developing these kids for the future which hasn't happened for years and they are fully aware that there points wont be there in 2013.As for some of there recruits this year a majority of these boys didn't play alot of footy last year due to serious injury and throw in there skipper, great recruiting I would think as all the boys had no reoccurrence of injury, I'm guessing you probably no all this but continually slam the club and the people involved. Well done to Osama and his troops for putting on a good spread. Yes Greeny locked in for another year. Could have been easy for him to move on.

Further to my earlier post Eudunda are also very confident of securing the services of Wells and Agars to go with Prior and Schmidt. Eudunda would be early Favourites for some long awaited silverware if they managed to put together that awesome foursome.

Great catch Dizz! Excellent for the Redlegs that he has decided to stay. Heard there was a strong pull from the Riverland, so Freeling has done a good job to keep him. Without the burden of being coach, he could fire up to be one of the very best in the comp again.
In other news, sit tight for an announcement soon on the South Gawler coach......

Good luck to whoever that is, heard a candidate for the job had an interview with them last week only to arrive and find them still interviewing some one else and after waiting for 30mins after the scheduled interview was due to start he left.
If this is how things are run down that way it's hardly a surprise they find themselves at the bottom of the ladder

An interview is also often a test of character, its not done to blow wind up the arse of the candidate. If he's crying about that, something tells me he probably didn't pass the character test...

Talking facts mate, not negative swipes, that's your qualified perception.
Only 2 of them to my knowledge, Jones (arm) & Savage (leg) missed out on footy, Josh Taylor may have missed some early in the season with his ankle = facts
I bet the door hits some of them in the ar$e as they leave and move on to greener pastures.

Seagull your hate of Willaston is only matched by Norm 11's hate of Barossa Districts
Maybe you should remember the good times you had at the Donnies and not when Uncle Lyle made the big mistake and appointed 2 coaches
Not the clubs fault and you should concentrate on Goolwa and leave the Donnies alone.

That's terrific that they've got juniors playing but my comment in answer to yours was simple so I'll list them for you.

Recruits this year who played on Saturday in the game that I watched

Joel Campbell #24
Geoff Taylor #34
Josh Taylor #13
James Jones #1
Michael Bates #19
David Savage #40
M McLean #6 - may have played there previously but is a recruit in 2011
C McLean #7 - as above

That equals 8 outside recruits for 2011 that I know of who played = no idea eh! There's a fair part of the major reason they got off the bottom.

By the way, with 4 games to go they tried unsuccessfully to get a permit for Joel Campbell's brother to play, I would have thought that was a great time to give a couple of these 'super kids' an opportunity to see if they could cut it in the A grade. Obviously the coach didn't have enough faith in them.

How can you add the McClean boys as recriuts mate, they are local lads that have family history in the club like any other in the club. That is absolute rubbish adding them in as recruits, get your head out of the sandglass mate
