I have heard from a very reliable source that Brahma lodge have been actively recruiting for there 2012 campain, as i know they are bitterly disappointed with the season just gone and have already signed Matty Paul (Eastern Park) Alan Harvey as B grade coach (Eastern Park) the son of coach Carey Payne, Trent is back (Eastern Park) and could be bringing a couple of younger lads with him, Darrell McIntyre back to play with his brother (Salisbury West) Robert Abdulla (Central United) team of the year Full Back plus 3 others from another northern suburbs team to be interviewed tomorrow, also 3 from the BL&G within the next couple of weeks when they return from their end of season footy trip.
These along with almost all the current playing group committing to staying, things look pretty good for the Lodge to return to finals action next season.

Just wondering if all these blokes are over the line and a few more to come, would points be a issue with the Lodge?

Not sure if that is the case mate, im pretty sure even if he is coaching B grade he still attracts points. I may be wrong but.
If this is all going ahead i can see them having a very strong B grade, as i cant see them all fitting in!

Think they'd learn that this approach doesn't bring success :? .

Brahma Lodge does not have a strong junior program set up just yet so they always need to look at recruiting players. After 2010 they lost a lot of players and did not replace them all hence the need for some fresh faces around the club to help with recruiting. I would say from the names stated especially if young Trent can bring out some of his U/18 team mates from Eastern Park they are well on there way to putting a very strong squad together for 2012.

Premiership success no but going up a division and then a preliminary the following year - I would say yes to that
This year not replacing players that left nearly got them relegated
Not a bad approach considering the year before the club finished 2nd bottom
It's unfortunate that the club doesn't have kids but that's been a big focus over the last 3 years as well and each years goal is to add another grade
