I think u will find there is a few more in the mix than just those two.

UNDERthePACK wrote:Only a rumor but apparently Brendon Fevola was over this way in the last couple of weeks and had a meeting with Hamley. $10,000 sign on fee + 2000 a game is what I have heard. Casey Scorpions are cash strapped so he won't be there next year and has no ambitions of playing at AFL level again so the highest bidder is in with a shot

One thing is for sure, the guy that gets the gig will be of the highest quality in terms of country footy coaches.. Mallala still have youth on their side and I can't wait to see a reignited Magpie unit in 2012.![]()
Happy days

I can't believe one would even post something like this and expect blokes to seriously consider that there may be truth in it.... unless your Dr Pink of courseThe rumour I heard is that United have traded Burgoyne for Fevola plus $25,000 sign on and a media contract with Triple B FM and the Plains Producer worth close to $17,000. Hey just what I heard...... from UNDERthePACK (does that count?)

This media deal was to go through but when Triple B said Fev would be on air reading from a script, but it contained words with more than four letters. Fail.
