I can't believe one would even post something like this and expect blokes to seriously consider that there may be truth in it.... unless your Dr Pink of course :D The rumour I heard is that United have traded Burgoyne for Fevola plus $25,000 sign on and a media contract with Triple B FM and the Plains Producer worth close to $17,000. Hey just what I heard...... from UNDERthePACK (does that count?) :D

I'd show up just to spit in his face.

We had him at that, then he found out we don't have pokies so it sort of fell through. We did offer a weekly high stakes poker tournament but apparently thats not gambling! :D

One thing is for sure, the guy that gets the gig will be of the highest quality in terms of country footy coaches.. Mallala still have youth on their side and I can't wait to see a reignited Magpie unit in 2012. :D :D Happy days

So, Mallala became stale under old man earle? Did they finally give Harris the flick swamp got quite a head on him. Don't get the nick name plugger he doesn't kick many goals for that name. I love Florence

No 'e' on the end of Earl there mightey houndes by the way. As for Harris, given the our veteran full back in the B's that has cracked the 400 game mark recently also has the nickname Plugger, I don't think kicking goals is one of the prerequisites of this nickname. If your having a crack at young Plugger, and I know he is a scary cat, but I'd say given he's only 19 years old, I think the best is ahead of him as a tall forward so not sure why he'd be given the flick. He almost won us the game in the prelim.

If the Producer offered him a gig on the red carpet of Mail Medal night he'd have signed on, but no Buschy didn't want to give that one up.

I got a text this morning to say that Travis Opitz is officially our coach for next year!
No real surprise to anyone as he did a great job this year I felt. 8)

Mighty hounds if your IQ was anywhere near your tally of goals kicked against you, your
comments would hold some water.. Surely there's more to do in Florence than saying how good it is over the Internet on a footy forum

Steve Lubcke is a good pick up for mallala. First class coach they've picked up there.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No

I've heard that name before. Where is he from? Good to see we didn't have to guess the coach from a cryptic clue

I think Lubcke coached Tanunda to flags from 08 to 2010 I think, before taking a year off last season, coaching SAPSASA and a State Country assistant.

Following his love of Black and White, he was the coach of Tanunda for 3 successive flags previous to this year. Certainly knows the right time to coach a club so I will back Mallala for premiers for the next few years.

On your cryptic comment MH, why make it easy for you, anyone with half a brain would have worked it, not that big a deal I didn't think.

A very impressive acquisition. Coaches don't win you flags though..... but I think this bloke will make sure Mallala get the best out of thier young playing group. Time will tell.
