gibbo may not be popular in Nuri anymore but the mail on the moves is solid,
Apparently Nicholls being chased hard by RSMU too. Unlikely to be at Nuri next year.

I question their influx of players too.
Baker is leaving, definitely. and Chris McLean will be overseas for next year.
Nuri apparently have been pillaged by new Min-Man coach Shawn Gibson, the names I have heard
from decent authority are Nicholls and Cragg-Sappsford, plus potentially more.
Also, strong rumour has it Billy Wells from tanunda has been bowled over by an Irish girl and may be in the Green isle next year with her.
On the Harvey agenda, if he leaves Ango I would be stunned, I would rate it a 0.00004% chance,
he does love to have his name mentioned though so he may have fuelled this fire himself.
Cant wait for Media Mike Teakle to break all these stories wide open.

This is all over the Magpie and Stump hotel so probably correct. It would be good to get a MinMn official on here to explain their points situation
Gee you get to a few pubs Sky! LOL!

Just a point of conversation, is it morally right for a coach to poach players from their foundation club.

Its a free market system so anything goes. Players and clubs should be free to discuss sackings and hirings at any time between the last siren at the gf and the first siren of round one the next year.

Speaking of player movements... Heard a very interesting fact that a big name player for the apl rams is in negotiation with GC... Also that one of my own is heading back there for the 2012 season... It will be interesting to see how the goal squares look at GC next year...

Even with Scott Hahn hanging his boots up, can't see Niklaus back at the dog track next year unless he wants to take a pretty big pay cut. GC are not big payers wouldn't be able to get near the coin Niklaus has been on at Virginia

Well there you go... Hahn would have been on a bit... Plus with Hahn gone the key forward postion would have to be all his and GC could throw that coin at Niklaus... There would have to be 500 single reasons for Niklaus to go back there...

GC matching the $100 per goal on top of his match payments aswell.

Is your '0' key stuck or? Based on that Niklaus would have received close to $2000 in the weeks he kicked those bags of 12 goals... Plus 100 goal season, thats $10,000... Don't know if its just me but that seems highly unlikely... Virginia wouldn't be able to afford that three years in a row... if they can were is the dotted line...

Widget, you've got to be joking if you think $10000 is too much for a top player in the country. Most clubs start at this figure for a player like Nicklaus; that's only 600 buckaroos a week! What do you think the other Top clubs in the country, especially in the BL&G pay - peanuts? Even it the Northeastern league a gun player would expect this.
GC would need to pay at least this to get him back.

Hotspur, I reckon you may have miss read Widgets blog. He was stating that Niklaus would be on 800 per game plus an extra 100 per goal. 800 x 16 = 12800 match payments + 10,000 for goals kicked (approx 100 goals for the year) totalling $22800 ($1400 per game - not including finals). Don't care what country comp you play in that would be amongst the highest paid players.

I am not choosing sides just explaining Widgets blog the way I read it. I really couldn't care what players get if they deliver and clubs are willing to pay that price without hurting the Football Club for future years.
