A mate of mine who is a junior Roosters coach and was involved in a blue last night at Elizabeth. Is it that Elizabeth (Hamra) Oval is always the place for trouble. Is there any thing the SANFL can do about this continuos behavior.

I didn't see any trouble last night, and even as a North supporter, I think your 1st paragraph is unfair on the CDFC if the alledged trouble was between 2 North supporters, what has that got to do with previous trouble at Elizabeth caused by Centrals supporters or others that just turn up for trouble.

its just unfortunate that shit like this happens at sanfl games...i think all clubs need to look at incidents and try and do something about the ppl involved.

I did 10 laps last night with little miss smac (3yo) who was looking for her Puppa who was always at the footy (passed away in the off-season) and saw no trouble from any of the crowd.

Even a great night for supporters gets bad press by crap like this one.

Not sure that the North Under 13 coach was anywhere near where i spent the game. Not sure he'd be able to tell me what my experience of the crowd behaviour was any better than i could tell myself anyway.

I don't have a problem with this but is there a reason or is it just a habit or ritual that has developed? Not just the end to enders but a lot of supporters just seem to go round and round during play as well as at end of quarters. Good for fitness levels i guess

Its because its a social event for a lot out there, the young kids who normally have nothing to do or roam the streets have somewhere to congregate and catch up with a few people, its really a noticable difference out there from the daytime that I picked up on last year. Its also very noticable at Grand Finals when hundreds join the usual end to enders, the end to enders want to watch the game but the hanger ons spend more time walking between goals and spending time when they're there not even looking at the footy its incredible. Same sort of reasons as above I'd assume.

It was probably supporters walking from 1 amenitie to the other- need more facilities. Spend some of your coin Dodgies!

They should orgnasie some travelators like you have at airports or perhaps a chair lift from one side of the ground to the other!
