Thanks Harry - Got that same issue at home

Greg Franks played and he isnt on the list BUT I have almost nailed the 20 - Made a few calls to ex Qld Players and Peter Blucher of QLD AFL has been a huge help

Peter Ives and Barry karklis I have learned as of yesterday have since passed away and both played in this game. Just waiting on a couple of phonecalls and emails to confirm the final few players

Remember the game well - went with my Dad, sat in the Members Stand, was 9 years old.

We belted them - I am sure QLD kicked 3.3.21 ??? (Spelly?)

Saw Russell Ebert do the best thing I ever saw on a footy ground that day...

SA were kicking to the Golf Course End.
Peter Jonas was about 40m out from goal on his own, on the Eastern Flank.
Ebert flew over the top of the pack (on the Outer Wing) & with two fists, punched the ball (I believe we used Kookaburra Footballs in those days - 'Super League').
The punching motion was upwards & the ball sailed a good 20m into the waiting arms of Jonas, who turned around & kicked a goal.

Ebert was truly a star, no doubt about it.
