Yes as long as he has a team of writers, a week to prepare and a tele prompter he will beat it. Put them in the ring together in a free style promo contest and Jon Cena would easily take the peoples champ and send him right back to Hollywood. Last week saw the only hint of the "Word Life" John Cena i soooo long to see . The red hot cool promos (see the vanilla ice promo he did on Brock Lesnar) that made marks turn into Cena fans and then ultimately be turned off by the corporate $ money making puppet that you see today.

An Annonymous WWE Talent wrote the following Rant against Dwayne Johnson:

"[The Rock] comes in to use WWE to get back the audience he lost doing Disney movies, which is fine but he's been back over a year and name one person he helped make a bigger star since then? No one.

"He's here for himself, he keeps to himself, and he keeps someone who's actually touring here all year from making a bigger payday at the bigger shows. It's all about making this the "biggest" Mania of all time. OK, then what do we do the rest of the year? Who's been made? You think he took ANY blame for Survivor [Series] not drawing? Of course not, but how do you feud with a guy on the Titantron? Cena nailed the guy dead on tonight.

"Say anything about HHH, Taker, etc. still being in the top spot but if they were needed to work the road, they would and they would still work their asses off as much as they needed to. Rock is out for Rock and the idea he's here to better anything but his own wallet is the biggest work of 2012."

I have to absolutely agree with this guy, At least Cena performs every single time for the fans, The rock will appear only now at the WM Weekend and then he will surely back to hollywood, i will never leave? my ass!!

Thankyou Im willing to be entertained by the Rock because he is a great entertainer. But i will not drink his cool aid All i hear is the Rock will not lose in Miami. Im tipping an upset and whilst at the annual Wrestlemania Wristwatcher party i will laugh along with his killer scripted promos and wow at his in ring talent i will be on team Johnny White bread at the Granddaddy

The Rock is the Great one. but I agree with what the WWE talent said. The Rock while great packed up and went to Hollywood. Problem with the WWE is they are seeming to run out of ideas on how to package the wrestlers. The feuds are slowly working but the Rock and Cena should have been Epic not a one off match. Stone Cold should be the guest Referee for the match.

We don't need Shaq or Snooki, Chris Brown or anyone else at Mania.

The Rock is no longer a WWE superstar, he is a mainstream performer, and he will get Mania the extra mainstream media attention that VKM wants.

Forget that he was once upon a time a brilliant superstar, he is now a Hollywood, and that means he is there for star power only.

But Akebono, Floyd Mayweather and Snooki all prove one thing, the celebrity goes over at Mania.

Mania has always had celbs at it or invovled in someway (time keeping, guest refs etc) so there always be one. Yeah but pete rose proves the celb doesnt always go over and the fact the rock has been a wrestler and hogan put him over the last time a era v era match happen dont be surprised if superman wins at mania even in miami.

I heard that Taker was going to retire when the son gets into wrestling or the WWE. That would be in the next year or 2.

Looking forward to the remaining WWE TV before Mania.

The main event matches are set, and all that is needed is promo's/run-in's to further build the feuds.
Am hoping a large portion of the TV time is dedicated to what will be the blossoming of the Mania undercard, guys like Cody Rhodes need to be on there in a meaningful feud- he made the jump from undercard to the midcard after his Mania match with Rey Mysterio, and a match with a Big Show/Goldust type may just get him over. Particularly if he retires one of the Attitude Era staples in Goldust.

We will see how the pushes of comedy stars Ryder and Santino go, Ryder could be building to a showdown with Kane, which would really get the internet darling over, while Marella got a great reaction at EC.

Doubt we'll see the Tag titles at Mania, so they should be relegated to Superstars and squash matches until afterwards, when they can try and make them relevant.

Need to find something for Miz/Truth/Christian/Del Rio/Mysterio (if fit)/Henry, and they can't all be in the MITB match, they need a couple of other decent undercard matches.

Originally slated that Mysterio/Sin Cara would duke it out, but I doubt that even if Cara was fit they would want him botching it up at Mania.

I will be seriously pissed as well if we get another Ezekiel/Otunga match, unless it leads to a big payoff at some point.
