Just in case there was a person in Australia that was unsure, Ian Thorpe didnt qualify for the Final of the 200m Freestyle

Those that did qualify were

100m F Backstroke
- Belinda Hocking, Emily Seebohm (Libby Trickett finished third in the final to just miss out)

400m F Freestyle
- Kylie Palmer (Aust Record), Bronte barratt

100m M Breaststroke
- Christian Sprenger, Brenton Rickard

Ian Thorpe says he will swim on despite his London Olympic comeback dream ending at the national swimming trials in Adelaide on Sunday.

The five-time Olympic gold medallist improved on the best 100m freestyle time of his comeback to clock 50.35 seconds and win his heat.

But it was only the 21st best time of the heats, not enough to progress to Sunday night's semi-finals.
