Joel Campbell has 'walked away' from Willaston because he copped some serious ribbing from team mates about the added pounds he put on around his girth over the summer and he took it very seriously.

Caramels, April Fools day was last week.
Joel loves the club and is a great young man that I would not be surprised ending up coaching at Willaston if Coach Irving gives it away.
Mohamed your racial conitations in your post are in bad taste and would have thought Freeling supporters would have learnt from last years incident but apparently not.

Are you suggesting Irving is a chance to throw the towel in before seasons end.

Uncle Sam, if you read my post as it is written, it was a question on something I was told, not a statement on what might happen. There is a fair difference!

Reading through the post and I struggle to see any racial conitations here unless there is another post I don't know about, look's like you may owe Mohamed a very large apology as he seemed to be stating that Cambell should be fit after playing in the Territory with his Brothers, hardly racial?

Uncle Sam, playing the race card when not required is absolutely terrible and you should give Mohamed a massive apology and then leave this forum forever. Seems pretty obvious that Mohamed was simply stating that he should be in good condition as he was playing in the off season.

The wise heads of Skip and Swooper have spoken.
Maybe a job in AFL house for Sambo.
Word coming from GT Sports is Media Mike's T20 not far away.

Thanks for your support once again Osama, I'm back from the summer wilderness, working on my beer gut and tan and have nothing of substance to add to any footy talk, hence my silence.

Not too sure that Uncle Sam needs to leave the forum Swoopy Poop, happy to give him/her the benefit of doubt here. GT's big T20, well I cannot wait, Osama I'm sure you have some special inside knowledge.

Getting away from the racial rubbish recruit of 2012??

Dan Hosnell
Jessie Aish
Jarrad McDonald
Ben Gordon
Adam Pape
Fredrick Aguis
Paul Anderson
Jack Fosdike
Christopher Musolino
Darren Francis
Travis John
Jason McKenzie
Mark Ruwoldt

These are just some of the players that have been talked about or have been cleared through sporting pulse.

For mine recruit of the year in 2012 if fit will be big Jason McKenzie a big class difference in football ability than anyone on this list.

Thoughts?

Um... perhaps waiting and see how they go in games might make an opinion a little more sensible.
Calling the recruit of the year before a ball is bounced is nuts.
Hasn't Mckenzie just had Achilles surgery a few weeks back? he may not be fit or last long at all.

Sorry Stewie,

Jesse Aish for mine. Will be a handy 'in' for the Dogs. Can't see him staying there too long and back in Norwood jumper next season.

I think you'll find Big Buckets had surgery well before christmas, possibly a setback with his recovery, but i'm sure his class will still rise, not sure any ruckman in the BLG has a Jack Oatey Medal.

I dont read the local rags, but have heard Fred Agius has signed in the BLG, Not sure if it has been mentioned on the forum since though? My sources have him putting pen to paper just last week... but for who was the real interesting part.

Where is Musolino playing and I see it's another club for Darren Francis! He's been to quite a few in his time.

Francis is married up now and not partying as much from what I hear. Could be a big year for him.

Well done Skip. Agius has indeed signed on in the BLG, and the club will be a surprise, especially to some in Gawler. Look for another signing soon too.

And Uncle Sam; the racial card! Behave! Read the post, and apologise to Mohommad.

Rich, you said 'recruit of the year', I was just saying perhaps you should wait for the year to make your decision,
rather than spend your load before the girl knows your in the room.
Also, not questioning 'Buckets' credentials, if fit and going will be a massive in for Kapunda,
and winning a Jack Oatey medal is a great achievement, but whether he will be able to play at that level this season is the question.
If we recruited the 1931 Brownlow medal winner it wouldn't mean he would dominate the BL&G.
Good to see Media Mike has learnt this lesson too and not put any 'new recruits' in his top-20 before a game has been played,
Besides Paget who has played for South previously, ditto for Barossa Scrub Taylor.
His much maligned list isn't too outrageous this year, though I am not sure I saw Ryan Bignell in there,
probably would slot him in for Bova, who's production will suffer as Centrals only main focal point in front of goal.
In closing I would like to dedicate this and any future waffle to Rich.........enjoy.
