Brock Pommeroy on his stellar season culminating in receiving the Leith Drew Most Promising Junior Trophy for season 2011/12
Naismith won player of the finals and the 'A' grade batting trophy...
Brad Midlin won most wickets for the club. Bill raven missed out by a wicket...

good night last night, fair coma today

Great effort by Plympton just to make the big dance and to have award winners as well is a great effort. Especially considering where they placed last season.

Surprising that only section 1 and the 7+7 comp top teams won the flag.

Not sure how often the top team didn't win the GF but i would have thought it would have been more than 2 out of 7 most years.

Any other clubs held their preso nights as yet?

I reckon it would be about average having the top side win 2 out of 7.

When was the last top side to win it in section 1? Besides us of course this year  8)

Looking forward to friday 13th April for our presentation night! Hopefully this year its a bumper crowd considering its our 50th year!!! And the fact we also won another flag! Previous years have been poorly attended by players (more non players than players) but i still manage to get blind and enjoy myself! Its the 1st time we have decided to hold it on a friday night, normally held saturday nights so it will be a good trial. Be good to listen to stories about the GF and who's 6 travelled the furtherest or how far did S.Luders leg stump go!!!! :D :)
This year i may not need the trailer for all my trophies, i reckon i can manage with my hands!!!

Congrats to all WYC trophy winners!
Hope to see some of you guys at ASCA Presentation night.

Because we don't care about football. In the same way football clubs don't care about cricket clubs when they plan preso nights/footy trips etc.

I actually dont think we has anyone playingSAAFL footy this year except Brad Christie, who is playing C or D grade north haven so hardly high standard footy so it didn't come into consideration.

In saying that, stupid Friday night to do it cause of west Adelaides home game. Good thinking Mark

Hope yours is going well Tubby.

Ours went well and we had a few more people there than we thought we would get although it still wasn't a great turnout about 55-60 we had.

Pressy won our cricketer of the year by about 10 votes, they both got over 200, over Oliver Mcdowall, who missed 3 games, Robbie was 3rd.

Not sure if they get invited but anyone can go. I'd assume that if u personally had a good year you would pop along just in case. Hopefully a few of the WYC boys will be there!

Congratulations to Daniel Rowe on winning the Hewett medal with 13 votes. Absolute gun and a great bloke to go with it.

Also congratulations to Ollie McDowall for being awarded the Under 21 player of the year. By far the best junior in the comp.

Terrible turn out to the Presentation night with numerous award recipients not in attendance

That's because a Tuesday night before a public holiday is a stupid night to have the bloody presentation. Another reason to show our committee is out of touch with reality.

When would you have it Moe ? easy to bag the committee but come up with an alternative option ......

Interesting to see on the ASCA website the past winners of section 1, is that right that Coro have not won the flag since 54/55 ? long time between drinks out there, boys must be getting pretty thirsty :!!
