Bring back Burgess, at least his 10 goal plus losses didn't cost the club quarter of what they are paying out these days

Everyone at the game saw the improvement of Hamley Bridge over the summer.
A 10 goal loss doesn't look good but believe it or not we were up by a goal at halftime and were playing the better footy. But after halftime we didn't turn up and TW piled on the goals.
The boys ran out of puff and a few guys looked spent in that third quarter and TW pounced
Simon Feast was very good and is a great pick up for our league.

How did J.Allmond go for the Roosters?

Played a good game across half back, his speed and movement was crucial in the second half

from Saturday at two wells i saw a Hamley Team that will win games this year, but not against the best teams. If they can get the ball to their full forward, he will not miss many. It could have been the conditions but they appeared to have not much left in the tank after half time.

Two Wells 19.14 (128) d Hamley Bridge 9.7 (61) by 67 points.
Hummocks-Watchman Eagles 8.13 (61) d United 7.2 (44) by 17 points.
Mallala 6.5 (41) d Virginia 4.10 (34) by seven points.

Early leaders, Nighthawk and reigning premier, UNDERthePACK, continue their early season form with sparking fve-point rounds out of a possible six points to streak away to an early ascendency.
Jumbo and wangas#4 also snaffled a round-high five points to take them to within one point of the leaders, level with BOMBERS, who picked up a handy four points.
Late entrants, Swamp Donkey and infinity+1, both got on the scoreboard and already appear too good for twogood4u, who missed the round and drops to a distant last place with one point.

I thought when the ball went to him our defence done a great job spoiling him and making sure he didn't mark the ball. TW midfield got on top after half time and I thought that what was won us the game. I agree that Hamely can win some games as they have a good forward line and some top midfielders in their squad. Hamley were 20 points up at one stage as well but after half time we just turned it on so to speak.

Wilkey played on ball. He may have rested occasionally back there, but was on ball for the majority. Rimmer and Tim Cawrse were very good in the conditions.

Feast and Lee Allmond were very very good in the second half and were the keys to TW second half dominance.
Hanson was probably best on ground in the first half but once the TW midfield got on top the ball didn't reach him.

Should mention Balaklava's Sam Rowland has played the past two matches (including yesterday) in the reserves for the Eagles.

With the senior team spudding up this year, one or two good games in the ressies and who knows? A senior debut on the cards???

Congrats to him, had a great year last season and has made every post a winner in the U18s so far.
