Wouldnt think so, surely they knew it was coming, at best they have only replaced the players they lost from last year. At least they were more competitive last year. But im sure there is some blokes playing A grade that wernt last year that would be happy they are now getting a run.

My HB mate said 6-7 first choice A graders not in the side including Heberle and Taylor.

I think there were 7 first choice A graders who didnt play beacause of work, a music festival and injuries. Then on Saturday we had 2 more go down with injuries who didnt finish the game on the park.
Not making excuses but depth has always been an issue over the past few seasons and without our best 21 available it was always going to be a battle.

Mallala had 4-5 first choice players missing also, but the young fellas and those that replaced them contributed very well. Totally agree that Hamleys lack of depth is hurting them, but I don't think depth can explain the consistent second half fade outs. After showing they are more than capable in the first half of most of their matches so far this year, cumulatively the opposition have scored 43.22 to Hamleys 10.9 in the second halves of their matches. Is it fitness related or motivation in your view Bomber? I am sure they will get back on track sooner rather than later and for the competitions sake I hope it very soon. Was good to see them blood some young colts on Saturday, one of which played a blinder.

Speaking of blinders, Balaklava's Luke Guy kicked eight goals on the weekend in the reserves against Hummocks.

Eight goals, 13 behinds. Lol

Big news with Stephen Papanotis facing the tribunal this Wednesday night, reported by both umpires for striking.

Carries a standard two week penalty. Can anyone shed any light on what happened?

Sure can. Threw a punch at devin Hardiman then when things got pushy threw another punch at someone else sent off for game and this was 10 mins into the first

Good analysis Swampy. The league should reinstate Roseworthy College and merge them with Hamley. Then put a pink sash next to the red one.

Not to mention the haymakers he got away with at the start of the game when devo tried to shake his hand. Virginia also had someone reported in the B Grade

Seems to me not alot has changed with Papanotis, fair to say though he is about as tough as a ten year old without his brother playing. Cheap shot king!
