Have South Adelaide ever played on the MCG prior to this Saturday?..... I believe they may have...

Their Facebook status yesterday said South are playing at the MCG for the first time in 120 years. Seeing the club is in their 136th year, they may have a long long time ago

In the 60s they played a few games against Melbourne in Adelaide - I'm just wondering whether they may have travelled over to Victoria to play Melbourne which meant they could have played the Demons on the MCG - but it's only a hunch...

The 60's were a bit longer than 120 years ago

I have 4 games for SAFC at MCG

1. 1886 v Essendon
2 1892 v Fitzroy, Carlton and Melbourne

There may have been more - my records are not complete before 1897
