Great game of footy.
Virginia convincing winners over United.

Balaklava 14.9 d Two Wells 12.9

Goals : Dawson 5, Brice 3, S.Lamond 2
Best : L.Michael, H.Walker, L.Pearson, J.Michael

Could it be the first of 5 meetings between the 2 sides this season :-?

Two Wells up 7.4 to 1.1 at qtr time

Why did you only put up Balak BP and GK?

Anyway first quarter we made Balak look second rate came out and put them on the back foot early to their credit they slowly pulled the margin back with 4 goals in the last 5 mins of the second being the the difference. once they hit the lead they never lost it again. I believe we are defiantley moving in the right direction considering they pantsed us 3 times last year. Big game against mallala on saturday

With such a lead at quarter time you could say that Balak made the roosters look second rate in the last 3 quarters..

More importantly, were Two Wells in a winning position?

It wasn't On Song it was me that posted Balak's details.

I only have been putting ours up as I am involved with Balak and have access to that info first hand, if you want to know the oppositions then read the paper or look it up on sporting pulse.

Was good to see the young ump report him and send him off for the roundhouse on Ned.

How did that scuffle happen? Was good to see the young ump report him and send him off for the roundhouse on Ned. That's guys done for striking against us the last 2 weeks.

Seccafein the Sniper snuck one on Lachie Michael at the ball up and Whiskey was flying the flag for our young blokes. Has accepted the 2 weeks, will miss United and HB, next game back is Two Wells after the Association game.

knocking out Brad Michael the last time the 2 teams met with a very late high hit, cheap shot on Lachie Michael this time. Let's see who he whacks next time we meet then we'll discuss whether he's a sniper or not.

Hamley Bridge 16.9 (105) d HW Eagles 14.7 (91) by 14 points.
Virginia 18.17 (125) d United 7.6 (48) by 77 points.
Balaklava 14.9 (93) d Two Wells 12.9 (81) by 12 points.

Some important ground was made up on UNDERthePACK's lead, after the reigning champ failed to tip the Bombers over HWE at Hamley. UTP was not alone though, as many leaned towards the Eagles and paid the price.
Not surprisingly, Hamley fans BOMBERS and norm11 go much better in the tipping when the Bombers are winning, both achieving round high perfect scores of six points to boost their totals.
Bridesmaid in last year's cash comp, Hazbeen, also notched up a perfect six points and moves to equal third with wangas#4, who did well to jag five points.
BOMBERS moved to second overall with his excellent week.
Hall of Shame goes to Nighthawk, who again failed to tip, while mighty hounds had a howler, snaring one point from the round and sits mid-table.
Mythical Creature's tips were a let-down once more, returning to his early season form. Ack!

Association squad should be named by tonight, will post here tomorrow.

The under 21 players will be interesting, I think there needs to be four or five of them and only one or two from last year are eligible under that age bracket.

Any tips for players playing good footy who are under 21 that might get a call up?

From Balak, Jason Henderson and Lachy Michael are just about locks.

I think Khan Leighton still qualifies. Daniel Hines may get asked to train.
Who will get the ruck position? Simon Feast has been in great form, but would it be right to call on a 37 year old, who is is new to the league and probably would like the weeks break.
