I know it was looking like being a wet day and the Crows are on tonight, but the crowd was very dissapointing. I'd be surprised if there were more than 3K.

All the Central boys finished the game on the ground so hopefully no injuries out the game.

Granted a big crowd at footy park tonight, but sub 3k for a state game is appalling no matter which way you look at it.

I agree but in this day and age people just simply cant afford to do more than one outing.

I dont think the SANFL could have done much more to get a crowd there apart from offering lots of free tickets. The location was great, the day and time was great.

Comp vs Comp rep football should be left to die imho.

I see the humour there , truly a national game . I wasn't actually referring to TSG personally, the SA footy going public in general.
Of course there are very dedicated supporters who go week in week out. In the 15 years prior to coming over here in '04, I would've missed less than 10 games, only get to 2 -3 games a year these days sadly (which is about a $1000 weekend... airfare, hire car, ticket, merch and beer). Still a card carrying member every year since early 90's.

1 example of many no doubt.
