French Open Tennis

Post by lincolnsdirtysecrets »

With the French Open coming soon and Nadal getting beaten recently at Madrid the mens is wide open.

The womens again looks pretty open provided Sarena doesnt fire

Most of the front line players threw those Madrid Open games to get off the blue clay I'm sure of it, sooked about the surface and lost their next game. Think they would rather practise on French Open type clay than the slipperier blue stuff

Tomic had his arse handed to him on a plate by someone who has never got past the first round at the French Open.

Either had Tomic till this year either.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Federer wins after losing the first two sets to Del potro!

Novak v Jo Wilfred = one of the best clay matches I've ever seen!

Jo Wilfred leads 1-6 7-5 7-5

Novak saves 4 match points with some huge forehands in heavy conditions to force it to a 4th set tie breaker!

Novak with the first mini break, goes 2-0 up, Jo Wilfred gets two mini breaks back to lead 4-3.

Novak gets the mini break back 4-4.

And you guessed it, Novak takes the lead with a mini break again 5-4 up with two set serves to come!

2 set points. Jo Wilfred comes up with the goods. 6-5 on serve again!

Wow this is a cracking match!
