I would say the club was notified - that's been the normal channel in the past - not sure of the timing though.

What would be the possible outcome by the league if the players who are meant to be suspended re association rule, decided to play anyhow? Fine? Further suspension? Loss of premiership points? I have no idea. The reason I ask is, if every club has players that are suspended via the association rule, and they all play, all the clubs loses the premiership points, so basically a week of footy for nothing.
Think the league will be looking at this rule prior to next season

I'd love to hear the reasons from an APFL board member as to why Mills and Banton from United were suspended for todays matches while Light, Cicolella, Herberle, Feast, Featherstone-alphabet all of whom made themselves unavailable last week were free to play. Somehow I think it would be quite amusing. Not that it really matters cos they all played in loosing teams today........... and United won .
