Obviously had the desired effect as they outscored Tanunda in the last after being Pantsed 9 goals to zip in the 3rd. Nothing wrong with a good spray at the right time. I didn't hear the contents of it but I get annoyed when some blokes have a scary face pulled at them and they need a month of therapy these days, or they want to change clubs.
Seriously, it's a mans game. Too many are a product of the trophy generation, where you get apat on the back for doing not much.
If you serve up uncompetitive efforts, you should expect a spray, especially with more blokes putting their hands out for cash, for something most people do for recreation. Im all for being positive but you have to take the good with the bad sometimes. Heard Newberry cop a gobful from Kaesler after he didn't pass off when he should of yesterday. I'm sure he' s not going to be in foetal position rocking himself to sleep about it

Probably one of the most poignant things ever written on this forum Drifter.
100% right, too many paid players are more than happy to put out their hand despite a rat-ass effort,
Yet would scurry for a tissue or leave the club if given a dressing down.
Watched Benny Burgess give the Angaston B- grade a royal spray at quarter time yesterday and it warmed the heart,
it seems to have disappeared almost completely because of players mental fragility.
Would love to see Haddsy deliver a timely spray to our mess at the moment,
Poor guy must be heartbroken with some of the efforts put in by some right now.

Spot on there Drifter, was at the game and the 3rd quarter was not good for Freeling and they deserved a good spray and they duely responded, the spray worked and they looked really good.

Panthers would be spending as much as freeing Stewie, and the legs are showing more spine than you blokes.
Seems to be some momentum building on the Hadden and Burgess handover there stewie! Some players respond to a good dressing down and very few respond in the best way.

The Tanunda bloke who told me said it was one of the funniest things he had ever seen. Thought the veins in his head were going to explode

Talking to a few Tanunda players before this year started and they had all said this will be the last year at the club for as many as 7-8.
Might bring them back to the field next season.... you beauty.
No doubt Mohammad, that Ango are spending some money this year, no idea how much, I hope its not a lot coz it would be better spent investing in pumpkins or something right now.
This has been the hardest season to take that I have spent at the club, we may have finished bottom about 6 years ago but it wasnt heartbreaking like this.
Some of the guys just dont have a pulse right now and there is a hint of ME, ME, ME about some as well.

Heard it all before Mohammad, apparently we have been imploding for the past 5 season's. Nothing lasts forever but I'm sure your source was as good as all the others over the past 5 season's.

Luke Copley and Dogga Woodards kicked three each in Southern Flinders' 82-point whipping of BMW on Saturday in Northern Areas.

Stewie surely the result's are not doing coach Hadden's chance of re appointment any good.
Some expensive recruits this year and to say some players don't have a pulse reflects poorly on the abilitiy of the coach to get this group up for matches and therefore how can he take them forward.
My thoughts are Ango need a non playing coach outside of the club to come in and bring 3 top players with him and see what happens otherwisw I can't see any improvement in the current group.

Is hard for me to be impartial when it comes to Hadds coaching,
Having played footy with him for nearly 10 years and having a huge amount of respect for the man makes it tough to stand back and be critical.
If what you say is right then knowing Hadds he wouldn't seek re-appointment if he thought he couldn't progress from here.
Would be a really tough gig to Coach Ango this year and Hadds has shown some genuine strength of character to keep pushing and searching
for the answers...... I sure as hell wouldn't wanna be a Coach.
Our team lacks a spark at the moment, but the ones that are prepared to bust their gut for the jumper are still getting up for games.
So maybe its a character flaw on the ones that aren't getting up and about on Saturday.
I wouldn't be dropping any bombshells by saying we aren't getting our moneys worth this year, which would still be true if we were spending $100 a week right now.

I doubt it Smooth. Tigers are on a roll at the moment and look like being successful (top two anyway) for the next two or three years so I think most blokes wanna hang in there and be part of it.

The imposter they call the general may as well be sacked now, save some money.
Was he held kickless last week by Commane?
He should have handed back his money last week after serving up that crap
Anyone thinking they are getting the state country full back next year will be in for a rude shock.

In his defence, he doesn't select himself in that team so thats not his fault, still something anyone would be proud to put on the resume!

Are You suggesting you could do better than him Days? granted Commane would have had to run a lot more to get around you if you played in front of him!

I see him first hand every week and think that his selection is a bit peculiar,
Seems to be on reputation, yet he obviously goes well on those games.
Is strange that he plays his best when money isn't involved, just self glory.
Some of Daysof's points are semi- valid, I would love to see the general dominating each week for our club,
When it matters most to his team mates.
