Salisbury played well today, a solid team performance. Pag, I reckon the throw in the air at the end of the game was the farthest you moved the ball all day  . Steve Couzner BOG by plenty, the weather suits his game perfectly.

For what it's worth, I would have had Hoody in the top couple for North Haven.

Cmon Pag, where are you ? I thought you would have been on here gloating
Seriously though, great effort against one of the more fancied teams. I reckon the grade is even more wide open than it was before. Para Hills travelling beautifully at the moment too.

I heard that the Portland B Grade coach was chased off the Ingle Farm oval on Saturday by an old lady with an umbrella. Any truth in this one Felch.

Not sure where the B's sit at the moment MMc, look like they are ok, but havent really been tested yet. Depth is ok too, still a handful of blokes playing C's who are very capable B grade footballers. Biggest test to date this week against Mitcham.

i remember that Bgrade side from last year, is it the same top 5 players? also a young leadership group to boot, must consider that side along with one or two others as possible benchmarks

Probably lost 2 of last years top 5 at this stage - no Sims at the moment, wont see him until after mid-year and missing last years CHB.
What club would you be involved with MMc ?
Way too early to be calling anyone benchmarks, but think Salisbury and Mitcham will be good in the ressies.

im just an innocent observer Felch, no particular affiliation or affinity for any club, but portland has caught my eye. chris simms is a big in, john bird, brett webber and paul graham are all a chance to play under the B grade super coach there again over the coming weeks. 2 out of three having held their own on the weekend should be helpful. j bird adding hardness at the ball and webber a general through the midfield and graham bringing pace. surely the blue blood of mitcham would struggl to contain them? throw in a tim upton and a Kym Gaylard and its a good line up.

Fisty that is a seriously silly rumour to circulate, the bird brothers are an institution at portland similar to the webber dynasty. my rumour: dbird to captain portland fc next year... it has all the sizzle under it down there
