Hi all. just returned to Adelaide after an extended period interstate and need to know
If there are any Pie Carts still operating? Im here with my girlfriend (from vic) and she is really keen to sample
the culinary delights of a traditional SA pie floater.

If there are no Pie Carts still going, where would the SA Footy Brains Trust recommend?

Thanks.

I reckon there's a dedicated pie shop at Glenelg - right next to the Beach House - which does pie floaters.

I'm 100% sure there's a small lunch cafe on Nile St. @ Glenelg which does pie floaters 'coz I was there today and read it on the menu. No idea how authentic they are 'coz I had something else.

Admittedly neither of the above options would quite replace the experience of scarfing down a floater at an actual pie cart. Does the Vilis pie cart outside Norwood Oval do them?

Late starter eh! ;)
If it helps you feel more normal, my step-daughter recently had her first child, perfectly healthy, just after she turned 40.
(She had survived two different types of cancer - one at 30 and another at 35 - so pulling it off at all was surprising.)

Bought the trilogy on Saturday with the Missus. The irony was I got them at Elizabeth Shopping Centre, like they need any additional motivation out there to breed...

My missus doesn't see what the big fuss is about with the book. I guess she's just either boring or satisfied, strongly leaning to the former :(
