Well done Sammy but I actually don't support your club, I was at another ground yesterday but I would have thought that there where 4 other victories over the past 5 years that would have been better.
My apologies Skip meant Swooper still on a high after that magnificent win yesterday-while the 4 GF wins are remarkable the win yesterday was up there with those due to our outs and the game being against the arch enemy

Jim, Kapunda are a very good side as you have found out just like us. Your mob has been going along very well but I would think this one would be a small wake up call for the lads. The upcoming finals series is going to be the tightest and most interesting for a long time.

How undermanned Jim? Not too many out in the Barracker - remember Bombers still far from full strength at the moment too.
Why doesn't Mussolino like playing Kapunda? Doesn't he want to come up against his cousin, who's looking forward to the meeting.

Mussolino, White, Ahern, Scott and Bevis should hopefully all return this week.
And yes I believe Kapunda still also still have a couple to return.
Had 2 close hard fought games between each other already, hopefully there is another to come

Played some last year, hasn't played any this year. Has been very solid the last three or four weeks in the Reserves so could be in line for a call-up.

ie, A player currently playing in the Riverland in 2012, but had a season at Nuriootpa six or seven years ago and has not played at Nuriootpa since then, now wants a clearance to Gawler Central but still requires a clearance from Nuriootpa as well as his riverland club?
If the association wants to keep the rule, why don't they bring in a rule that each club is allowed 2 x player clearances a season that do not require a clearance from their previous BLG club?
The rule is a joke, what possible grounds these days could an employer stop an employee from leaving or going to another place of employment?

After talking to a close friend of an ex GC player, he told me they put all their payments throught e ATo, so could they not sue BLG for restriction of trade??

Im sure the clubs have plenty of legal avenues they could go down if the BLGFA continues with this rule.
The points system also needs serious attention our comp is dying, not a slow death but a fast death and if something doesnt happen soon with allowing clubs more points to play with then we will go from having one of the strongest country competitions, to having one of the most ordinary country competitions going around.
I think it should be open points to all teams, the weaker clubs will be forced to work harder if they want to be a part of the competition.
Having a strong competition with good players amongst it still attracts good players and this then attracts good crowds.
I would like to see a competition average of attendances from the 90's-2000's to the last three years.
