A bit of fisticuffs between a couple of ressies players. Situation ended up uglier than it should have

Jimmy get the blue and white out from your eyes and gives us the facts as I heard it was more than 2 prople involved and it got quite ugly.
Will be a hard one to sort out given some committee person siblings involved if I have been informed correctly.
What a time to have this happen.

I dont think you can call it a 'rumour' when it was the back page story in The Bunyip!

They would have to have a netball club as well before the BL&G would let them in.
Not sure if they have one.

We have netball teams but they are linked to the footy and no juniors. I guess the juniors is what needs to be developed. Hopefully with the school close by this can be done. Would that be a fair definition?

It would be better going away from the city not towards it. How will Angle Vale convince any netballers to follow them around. Hummocks won't be going anywhere in 2015.

I also would prefer to go north. I also agree HWE won't be going elsewhere in 2015, I don't think they will exist as they currently do, hope Im wrong.

I would have thought everyone would be 'cock a hoop' to have another team in their comp to alleviate the stupid bye status.

Time for the BL&GFA to get up with the times, if the opportunity is there to add another club to even up the numbers, do it!

Tanunda
Kapunda - browny has exceeded the expectations on the bombers.
South - Scott Lee has finally elevated the Lions from the foot of the table
Barossa - Has Roger underachieved with his list

Willaston - Donny's had big budget and expectations of Irving
Nuri - The Rovers have spent up more than normal, Norts and Gers are both sharpening the knife for salter.
Freeling - developing list under Tyler, list needs a few tweaks for next year.
Angaston - Hadden hasn't recovered since the 2010 elimination final loss. They had more gains than losses from pre season.
Centrals - unfounded territory for the gawler tigers, not expected for Herzick to get any more from the cubs in 2012.

Where will the coach move on to next season. All that cash and promises and couldn't meet the expectations makes it an embarrassing tenure for the Donnies  ;)
Watch for the exodus of gun recruits over the next few months chasing more of the same!

So who will cop the blame for the mess at Willaston?? The Coach, the recruits or the Committee??

It's always the same "father and son" involved (although you can take your pick on which son it is as they usually take it in turns whenever there is a blue). Why it is allowed to continue is beyond me. Actually thought the South boys were going to turn on each other in the magoos today - undefeated, they were pushed to the limit by Centrals (Centrals actually lead during the last quarter but South got up by less than 2 goals in the end). Honestly, in 35 years of footy, I have never heard a side at any level give it to each other as they did today. Makes you wonder what might happen if they dont win the Ressies flag - think there might be blood spilled both on and off the ground between so-called team mates.

Some large margins in all yeaterdays games, is the new points system showing its wears now after a few years in the BL&G. BL&G rarely has seen blow outs in all matches and Tanuanda had the bye.
What happened to the Bombers yesterday and did Buckets play?

The Bombers certainly had their wings clipped by the Doggies.
It may be a case of no Buckets, no Kapunda.... with big Rosco best at the kennel.
