Section 1 will trial a 3 week finals system this year with a stand alone grand final.

Other than that nothing much really.

Although congratulations to Kevin Joseph or Skinny as most know him on his life membership of the association last night.

Well deserved.

congratulations to Daniel Giersch on becoming a Association Life member... Tremendous effort.. Love him or hate him, he continues to get the job done year in year out.... I'm surprised they inducted him knowing he wears his thigh pad on the outside of his pants  ;) ... Seriously though, superb effort and something to be very proud of... Has been a big part of the A grade for a long time and his form last season was great, taking out the A grade batting trophy...

You seem to have forgotten that one Bloods...

What is the criteria to become a life member?

No WUB12 i was going to get back to that.

Daniel was given his playing life membership last night for playing/umpiring 250 games in ASCA. He was one of about 9 that were given this last night a few that i can remember included Kevin Spencer, Darren Williams, Bob Bradley but there were a few others as well that i can't recall off the top of my head.

Awesome effort mate! Just goes to show ya dont have to look like a cricketer to get the job done! Its been pleasure playing with this bloke, Danny has taken a fair few balls in the skull and many more negative comments about what he contributes to the team throughout his career at Plympton but has always handled himself beautifully. All the guys he plays with understand how he contributes and he does a fantastic job...Keep it up Daniel San

COVE have picked up ASH BUBNER for this season.
A very talented all rounder who should finish top 5 with bat and ball.
This is COVE'S year.
