How old are the boxers?

We used to have 2 boxers.. didn't end well for the 1 and only cat that ventured into the back yard

I haven't tried it with Boxers, which are an excitable breed.
I did manage to - gradually - persuade a rather lolloping young Irish Wolfhound of only about 70 Kg at the time and a 12 month old adopted Siamese cat to get along together.
It took my wife and I acting together to achieve it.

The first step was to settle down the dog so he didn't jump around much, and hold the cat so it couldn't just run away, and get them to look at each other each day (through solid glass windows) until they could do so calmly.

Step two,was to let them actually meet and sniff each other, while holding the cat up at about the dog's nose level so he wasn't towering over her.

Finally we let the dog into the house and kept him calm while the cat stayed up on the taller furniture.
Eventually, when he fell asleep on the floor she came down and checked him out, and after a bit more of that she curled up next to him in front of the fire.
It took her a while to give up dashing off when he moved suddenly but it eventually settled.
We had to keep working on not letting him chase her when she ran, which was a hunting hound's natural instinct.

Yep - same happened with the Wolfy.
Even when he was fully grown at 90 Kg the cat slept in the middle of his big cushion on the floor, and he curled around her.
