No one in football in this league deserves that sort of coin, but if he is playing back at the Donnies next year, you would hope he has a coach that will use him in his proper position... Fair to say, opposition players were seen rubbing the hands together with gleeful anticipation when he was seen lining up in the middle of the ground. Definitely not a midfielder!

South gave up a half time lead and were easily over run by Barossa (8 goals).
Let’s hope for the Barossa faithful Roger has learnt to count since last September.
Having said that, I was more than satisfied spending my $8 at the gate by ¼ time of the magoos.
Ango's goal kicking ace put on a clinic in the curtain raiser.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Duke?, shit, where have you been?
It's like you went to another league or something.
I am sure all have missed your knowledgable insights this year.
Any thoughts on the Angaston situation?perhaps your own hat in the ring?
Great job by Benny and the 2's today. We will take what we can get.
Still liking Barossa for the flag too, expecting some cudos when it happens....

Told you the 'revolving door' was unlocked and that process wasn't far away.
Fancy offering $1500.00 a game to players, have they got rocks in their heads out there or just too many idiots running the show?

how good is your mob caramels you paid a fortune this year and got relegated now thats idiocy at its greatest .

Credit to Willaston for having a crack, made a GF in their first year, but given this years result, the experiment must be considered break even at best. I can't understand why people get pissed off when a club has a genuine crack at winning a flag, and in country footy these days, that means buying in quality players.
You may question the type of player they got, but that is their issue.
Unfortunately you can't always rely on locals and with the points system, your window to bring in players may only be 3 yrs at best!
Look at GC's, play finals just about every year for the last decade, haven't played in a GF since their flag in 2001, haven't gone out and recruited big, and what have they got to show for it, nothing, now Willaston didn't win a flag but they got to the big dance, which was one step closer than the rermaining 7 teams last year!

There was one in the Barracker, is this the official one? If it isnt then I assume it will be announced on presentation night along with schluter medalist, leading goal kickers etc.

I noticed they put 4 players on the bench, seems strange seeing as this league plays with only 3? The team looked pretty darn good though.

The Duke couldn't do any worse than the bloke who just vacated your club trashed on the bottom? But I guess it's not all his fault Stewie? He probably didn't hold his coaching upside down and mention to you about the Western Front or did he hold up a mirror at the qtr time breaks for you to look at yourself? Isn't karma a wonderful thing. =D>

Bunyip coverage best of the 3 local rags by far IMO.Thought it may struggle losing Robert Laidlaw but has maintained high standard and is a good read each week

Thanks, Sam. We've worked hard on it as we knew our credibility was on the line, having lost a staunch football writer in Rob. We can still improve.

GT Sports wasn't so positive this week. Apparently they went to the effort to pick up the phone and ring big bad Barry Kaesler regarding his return to Loxton, unlike the Bunyip. Do we have media war Dogwatcher?
Big Barry stated he deals with facts and not Internet gossip! Barry must understand we deal with facts at safooty, said he would wait till after he plays in the grand final before making a decision.

Saw a very clinical Tanunda side totally outclass the Bombers today by 11 goals.
Tackling was fierce and their skills were superb.
The 17's was the only close contest for the day with Tanunda getting up just.
South won the B's and 15's by plenty

You were a disgrace. Karma doesn't effect those that put in and love the club, rather than turn up and spout crap.
Love that u judge a club you were at for 5 mins and influenced in no way what so ever.
In the words of those that fought in Papua New Guinea.....worst coach ever.....
