Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

The Star has a hand in it. Due to the difference in weight on the roller he will have to spend at least another hour rolling pitch to compensate.

Ill be looking after it this season and will have our UK import doing most of the work, preperation started 3 weeks ago and am confident weather permitting we will get it up for round 1

hockey grand final tomorrow good luck to the viklets in the womens a grade (smash the blues). a grade men will be a cracker of a game . if tod is on fire along with zac , cors and turbo the blues will win but they have to stop the burdy boys , chucky ,vanderwall and lee . if they are on fire they will win . so it will be on for young and old . it will go into extra time then strokes there for the blues will win as they have 5 players that can flick and a good goalie that has put them into the gf . it would be good to see the maroons win as it is along time between drinks for premierships for this club . good luck to both teams . cheers barks

Well you're 0 from 1. Rangers won the B's by about 4 goal. Rangers also won the 17's and 13's.

Loved the way the boys Played today it was skilful footy that anyone who likes football would have enjoyed. We kicked straight and rectified the problem that cost us last week. If we do that next Sat then the premiership is ours. Its ours go lose from here.
Great position to be in.
south were no match. 1 game to go and its ours

There is no doubt Tasmans are a class football side and players to impress me where McCurry who dominated and Semmler led from the front. They are a huge chance next weekend and it will be a cracking grand final so get along and have a look.
How could so called experts tip lincoln south?
I thought Jantke did a good job tagging the mail medalist and the goal umpires did a good job ;)
Lincoln South would be happy with their season as they probably got the best out of the player list they had.

Congratulations to Francis on his medal win. How could the so called times expert who watches football everyweek not have him in his top 4?

Interesting observation CU, Tasmans have an incredible list on paper and have now earned the right to play in a grand final.
But on a Souths front, I believe it would have been a disappointing season had they not got that far. Any side containing Jericho, Browne, Story, White, Jay Williams, Sinclair, Rowe, Brayden Traeger, Hall, Edwards, Castley should be pushing for the top few spots on the ladder. Its a given that they probably had 4-5 guys that are not genuine A graders and struggled under finals and big game pressure.
But to say they would be happy or lucky with finishing third is a bit of a cop out. They would have gone into the game Saturday truly believing they were a good chance of knocking off Tasmans.

Tasmans too good on the day and to not win a premiership with that list would almost be a bigger underachievement than Tumby losing the 2007 grandy to Ramblers after going undefeated and with an average winning margin through the year of around 70pts
