As pleased as I am that I wont have to deal with Luders, it is still sad hes out. No one wants to see anyone out with a knee injury. All the best with his recovery

Same as AB and Caleb said. Was looking forward to getting knocked out by him again. Easily the quickest in the comp at full pace

yeah bloods has stepped up his training program and will be steaming in off a long run this year. not sure who im more worried for, the batsmen seeing a freight train running towards them or the other 10 blokes on the field who would most probably die of laughter

Premiers: South Rd (a very complete and well rounded team)
Wooden spoon: Glenelg ANA (too reliant on two players)
Batting: Steve McRae (predicting him to be back his best)
Bowling: Josh Lourens (an absolute freak with the ball. getting better with each passing season and expecting an even bigger and better year this year with the work he's done in the off season)
Hewett medal: Matt King (more of a smokey - if he is given more of the pill)

Kingy would bowl more if his quads weren't stuffed.
He has done one quad 8 or 9 times in 12 months. Hence why he didn't bowl most of the year. Bowled in finals purely cause it was a two week period where it felt good

ahh that's a bugger. in that case I'm tipping Sam Cheek if he bowls himself as much as he should injuries aside

Premiers: Coro
Wooden Spoon: Ana
Batting: Russell Curyer after last year he is due for a big year
Bowling: Very hard to go pass Josh Lourens. But might go may from south road outsider.
Hewitt Medal: Gareth Bruce. Can bat and bowl and with cheeky taking over as captan this could b his year.

Heard today from a handy source that Plympton may be without a home grou d for the first three rounds due to major work on the oval. Hope this isn't true after all the bad luck we seem to have with the council year in year out.

Re: Adelaide and Suburban Cricket Association 2012/2013
When is the last time the season has kicked off before daylight savings? I don't expect to get a whole afternoons play in the first week unless we start early. Also no Tues/Thurs evening training before the first game!
Might have been better to start a week later with the usual one-day game?

Is it true that Morphies have lost 3 players to Cove?
